shorty2605
Ok, I have a fresh install of VC on a fresh install of Win XP, without any mods. Whenever i get into a vehicle and hit the accelerator, the rear end of the car drops out causing it to hit the pavement(fender hits tire for bikes). This cause the handling to absolutly suck and also all engine noises disipear. This happenes for all vehicles so i really dont think it is because of bad handeling settings. If anyone knows how to fix this it would greatly be appreciated, because it is really starting to piss me off(cant do burnouts + other fun stuff). Specs:P4 1.8ghz, Geforce FX 5200 256mb, 768mb DDR, Win XP HE SP1
andy milonakis
I was just about to come on and here and post that myself. I heard this is caused by the armor cheat, but I tried a new game without using the armor cheat and I still get it.
RCagent
It has NOTHING to do with the armor cheat. Want to know the problem? Sound Problem! Your asking your self "what?". Well, you see in audio settings you have it set to something your PC may not have, thus some sounds are missing are aren't played. Since all the car acceleration sounds aren't played the game thinks their still parked, but it also has to remember to drive forward, there for no physics take place and the fender hits the ground. You should also notice after you gain enough speed it goes away. Why? Because the sound card plays the engine driving sound for all vehicles, just not the starting one. Solution? : Go to Audio Settings in Vice, change the audio softward/card. Your cars should then start up normally and what not.
