Zom-B Posted May 1, 2007 Share Posted May 1, 2007 Hey man thanks a lot but im putting them to GTA3 than in skins folder it isnt working are you sure that these are for GTA 3 or i need a path or somthin like those files player.dff , player.txd You need to create a TXD or use the corresponding .dff files for each character like Ray.txd and Ray.dff but change these to player.txd & player.dd Then place these in the IMG using the IMG tool but BACKUP in case it doesnt work!! Then add whatever character skin to the generic folder and rename it player it should be bitmap .bmp! Hope this helps artann! This won't work entirely, you can only play as a model that uses one texture. You see, the player model is higher quality than the PC version and i am planning to convert it. Also, if it's not too much trouble could you post playerp.dff & txd (The prison model). (I don't have the game) and if they find other characters, them too. This is possible as I have done so with GTA3 using a program called TXD workshop. It opens IMG and TXD files. It's up to the person who has the time or ability to convert graphics. Street Fighter would be trivial I'd gather, but entering the 3D world wouldn't be easy unless graphics from SF EX/EX2 (PSX version) was ripped. The 2D games mostly had side views, but one could rip the graphics from the many arcade emulators, just remember to resize them or you'll have short and fat characters! My request is similar to the previous Street Fighter one - Skins of Tekken characters. The textures are trivial to rip from the PlayStation (PSX) games (e.g. using something like PSicture), but are a lot different to the GTA3 all-in-one bitmap, and my graphics skills are crappy! Tekken 1 characters are in OMOTE and URA directories, player 1 and 2 outfits respectively. Tekken 2 and 3 graphics are all in the large BNS file. This applies to all versions, whether it's PAL, American or Japanese. The one thing I'd think would present a problem is extra items, like Yoshimitsu's sword or Heihachi's pointed hair and trademark shoes (called Geta). My request is for GTA III or Vice City, but for other Tekken fans I'll add San Andreas to the list. I hope it doesn't fall into the 'no EA Games cars in GTA' void, or this request will be redundant.
