SonnyBlue Posted August 31, 2004 Share Posted August 31, 2004 The other night i was doing my taxi missions for 100% and got up to 33 fares completed with about 8 minutes on the clock before i was tired and went to sleep. I raked in something like 14 grand doing it all. So you can see this as a question or a challenge, how many fares have you/can you string in a row? I've done over 400 in one go in GTA3 but in Vice City you seem to run out of time easier and every so often you drop off the passenger and no new ones spawn for a while and you can lose a bunch of time that way. I did this on the mainland, and it was very easy. Compared to GTA3, Vice Citie's Taxi Missions were insanely easier i think. But one time I got done viciously dirty I was doing the taxi mission on Vice City in Downtown so they sended me to the Airport! Doing taxi missions on Staunton Island is like doing Vigilante missions in Vice City. It's all a matter of how long you can keep going without getting bored. Dunno if it's true or not but I wanted to try and get 100 and see so I just spent a couple of hours doing it but I got to 47 and then no fares spawned, not one. I was driving around all over the place for 4 minutes and nothing I am so pissed off I need to go and kill some peds now *EDIT* After going on the rampage and killing everyone in sight I felt calm enough to have another go and the same thing happened at around 40 but it brought my total passengers over the 100 mark and now I have jumping taxis which make unique jumps more interesting Edited October 9, 2004 by The Jaysta? If you can get past the first 10, I've found it pretty much a piece of cake to breeze through the rest of them - you just need the patience. It took me a few days of having VC paused when I wasn't playing, but I made it high enough. Eventually, I just decided that enough was enough (I needed my comp for a programming assignment).
