catmandoza 4,582
I've done a search and can't find anythng on this so here goes. I've been playing VC on my PS2 for a while now with no problems at all, until I come to turn it on today and nothing happens. The PS2 runs fine as I see all the loading screens, the game seems to work fine because of the loading screens, it also say, Loading game.....etc etc then load sucessful, but then just a blank screen comes up and no game!! Anybody???
the_conspiracy 0
There are a number of possible explanations: 1.Your save files may be corrupt. 2. Your ps2 is broken. 3. Your game disc is dirty, damaged, or something is wrong with it I probably didn't get them all, but those are all the ones I can think of. Now, solutions: 1. Delete your gta:vice city data. 2. Send your ps2 to the nearest Sony store or something to get it looked at. 3. Check your game disc for any irregularities, and get a new one if need be. 4. CONTACT ROCKSTAR. They will probably be able to help you on this more than I did. I know those aren't the most satisfactory responses, but you're going to have to make do until a more experienced member sees this post.

Sawdust and various bits of dirt actually accumulate inside my ps2, I have no idea how. I occasionally have to clean it out with a damp cloth, because if not it jams the PS2. Other than that I have no idea what BlitzAce is talking about
