Storm defeated Newcastle Knights 48 - 10

 

The Newcastle Knights were simply outplayed by a classy Melbourne side this afternoon. The Storm rained on Newcastle golden boy Andrew Johns’ comeback match to the NRL, smashing the Knights by 38 points, and leaving them on the bottom of the NRL ladder. The Knights only points came from a duo of tries from ex-Melbourne player Dustin Cooper, and one conversion from Johns. When the rampage was finally over, Melbourne had 48 points to Newcastle’s 10.

 

Ah, it feels so good being a Storm supporter. Now we're on top of the ladder. How ironic is it that the Knights only try scorer was an ex-Storm player.
