Nice to have another Aussie with us. New Zealand didn't put up much of a fight. Their team that played us a few years ago was a lot better IMO. The one dayers should be starting shortly which will hopefully be a little more exciting.

Yeah, I can't wait until next year (I think) when Australia takes on a team from the rest of the world.

I would'nt be surprised though, since most of the Aussies would have holiday places over there, and some go over, and I know some of them follow the NFL a little bit as well, having met some of the NFL players, through promoting Gridiron in Oz and League over there.

 

Some of them would have permanent relatives over there due to the amounts of money they can give to the rest of their family, meaning they can move overseas and so on. -MDG

Hmmm, unless we hear it on the news, we may never find out who it was. I'm not sure you would find it on anyone's profile as a footballer. That is unless maybe you read their books or something, and considering I read a lot of sport autobiographies, I may come across it one day.

 

It's good to have another Aussie posting here, because it adds a whole new dimension of what you know about the sports to our topic. Thanks for that.

Today was a great day for NSW and a very bad day for SA. In the Pura Cup cricket match being played at the SCG, SA were bowled out for 29. NSW are 2/233 at stumps giving them a very handy lead. Now Jay has to admit the truth: NSW > SA.

SA sucks at Pura Cup cricket. Why do our players preform better in tests and one dayers at international level.

NSW ended up winning the match by an innings and 133 runs after SA managed 268 in the 2nd innings. The first one dayer between Aussies and Sheep shaggers is on Sunday. Shane Warne has decided to permanently retire from the pyjama game.
