i must ask this in here. how to add more material slots in 3dsmax 2010? mine is just 24 slot, and i need more images to add to my buildings. (sry for bad english)

You can't. You have to delete them and make new ones. You can Keep the materials in your models if you want. (Wich is probably what you want)

There cant be a tutorial for that, each game has diferent bones and anim types. You have to know what yo uare doing to do that stuff, not follow a few steps.

Well, I'm sorry, I usually used swat.dff rather than player.dff. sarcasm.gif

Hello my request is a tutorial on how to convert very high poly cars to low poly in GTA san andreas . the reason for this being is my computer is sh*t and i dont have the money right now to invest in a brand new gaming rig. to be honest im not even sure how my computer can even run Gta SA. so please it would be great if someone could figure out how to do this.

You can use a plugin called Polygon Cruncher. If not, you can only remove the polygons manually... and that can take alot of time.

Well,I'd really like 2 tutorials: One for 3d modelling,texturing and compiling models (and turning them into .dff and .txd files for san andreas of course tounge.gif ) and another tutorial explaining how to convert models and textures from other games and turning them into SA files.

@gtamodman122 Just take a stroll through the tuts for the first, there are several made. Second, what I do is import to Zmodeler 1.07 and export as GTA3 compatible (I have gta3 if you didnt guess). I guess you would have to run it through collmaker, open it in colleditor, and attach it to the dff you made. Then you could just open the texture in txdworkshop and change the format to San Andreas. Not sure how to make mod garage parts, though. Also don't know which zmod you need for SA, I just know 1.07 doesn't work.
