Tutorial Requests

I need a tutorial detailed to modify the gimpsuit ..., for example like to modify the files dff. in order that they agree with the file txd. and like it to concern the game and that I need tools to work effectively since I am a noob tounge.gif

 

If someone can help me, I be be grateful

i dont want to make a requests but why i can not start a new topic i make a 3dsmax tutorial that show you you have to import export and change moddells

you need

 

adobe photoshop best program to edit

 

txd workshop

 

and img tool

 

open with the img tool (for cars and peds) gta3.img search maybe fam1.txd extrakt

then you have to open fam1.txd with txd workshop and export .bmp save it

them you have to open fam1.bmp with adobe photoshop and change it after that you have to

save it as .bmp and imort it in the txd with txdworkshop

i would like map editing and new map making tutorial pls biggrin.gif

there is somekind of map editor{moo mapper or something).it is really easy to use.you can move objects.you can make new maps by putting some objects toghether.But you cannot build land masses like hills unlike in Delta Force or others.If you want to build your own houses and landmasses you need some modelling software compatible with SA like 3dmax.

I made skins for GTA SA....

how do i put them into the game ?

.bmp or .txd?

bmp ..... i need to convert them into txd but i dont know how to do it ....

Maybe my request is covered somewhere but I can't seem to find it.

 

One thing I'm looking for is a tutorial that will tell you, largely from the ground up, how to go about making a "total conversion." I see some of these out there (like "Ped Rising" and "Biohazard") and they look really nice. It seems there's the potential to do some great things with these games.

 

The problem is that most of the tutorials I can find are isolated to very specific things, like modeling a vehicle or putting a weapon in place. That's great, of course, when that's what you need so I'm not knocking those tutorials. But what I'm not seeing (maybe just missing?) are tutorials that cover the bigger picture, such as how to not just create one mission but how to essentially create a conversion that ties together a couple of missions.

 

I would even be happy to write this tutorial as I learn but I'm in a bit of a Catch 22 -- to learn how to do total conversions, I need to learn the best way in which to approach the tutorials so I can do the learning in the first place.

 

Any ideas about a good approach I can take?
