Wolfeman
I know I'm retarded but I can't figure out how to fly the plane in GTA Vice City on the PC. I press w or up and it just goes forward and never lifts offf the ground. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Or does anyone know how to fix this? PLEASE HELP ME!!! Thanks. Bartleby
Are you talking about the Skimmer aka Sea Plane? If so, here's what ya do: Start accelerating, and when the Skimmer is bouncing on the waves, press the nose up button (should be 9, though I changed mine to X because I like it that way) Helicopters...well all ya do is acclerate and wait until they lift off. Hope this helped.
bomber007
I agree with Bartleby but would prefer 9 instead of X(thats because I use it).
Wolfeman
The skimmer just never seems to get going fast enought to take off. I don't get it. This sucks.
vonchong115
Just keep the nine and foward pressed and eventually it should take off.
Cartoon Corpse
'up' and 'down' controls (9,6) are reverse from heli controls.
Wolf68k
W is the gas/forward S stop, slow down or backup A and D will pitch/roll the plane left and right 9 and 6 pitch the plane up and down 4 and 5 will yawl or turn the plane left and right. pitch is like tilting your head up, down or side to side yawl is like turning your head left and right Which, by the way, is really fubar once I got use to the flight controls of other games where it makes more sense like BF42 and BF:V. To come back to GTA:VC and almost have to learn to fly all over again.
