SSdraken 0
I have..... AMD Athlon Thunderbird, 2500 Mhz processor, Radeon VE Windows ME When I start the game, the intro is fine and all is happy, until I click new game. Then the bar appears to load, and it shows a pic (cant remember what it is right now). When the bar gets half way, my comp locks up and I have to cold reboot my computer. I have played the game on my system before I got it reformated, so I know it works, but I dont have any idea why it halts. Any ideas people?
Fatality_ 0
have u installed mods?
SSdraken 0
no, but I just reinstalled the game after taking of all my firewalls and virus things (disconnecting first of course ) and other heavy duty programs, and it worked fine this time around. However, I have now found *rolls eyes* that in the cutscenes the people talk really squeaky, and the music is squeaky too. The graphics are fine but the sound from them talking is really weird. Any ideas?

SSdraken 0
I reinstalled the game and it worked fine, but now (more problems), after about 10 mins of gameplay the game becomes very jerky... it plays for 1 sec, then freezes for 1 sec, then plays for 1 sec etc. so its not really worth playing. I am using a No-Cd Patch on the official game (i bought it), to stop overheating problems, so I know its not those. Any ideas?

chookie 0
your no-cd could be the problem there... have you tried using a program to create a iso of your CD2 and using a virtual CD program such as daemon? i I find that they fair better than the no-cd crap
Atomic 0
The Radeon VE is only 5 years old. What your experiencing is "lag", when the framerate drops below 30. You need a better video card. Btw, the no-cd patch will do nothing in the way of solving overheating problems, so I dont know where you got that jazz from.
