ReinierK
Hiya I have 98%... I'm 2nd in HOTring, so I have to do that one over and I miss 1 jump... Problem is, I'm SURE I did all the jumps... I looked at the maps, screens and movies and I did them all... The most likely ones I 'might not have' will be the jump at the parking lot onto the roof with the chopper in 1st Island... The 2nd jump is hard and I don't really know how to do it... 9/10 I crash into the wall and sometimes I jump on the other roof (is that ok?) Or the one in little haiti (I think), the one that points to the left and where you crash into all the small houses (number 6 on the map). Also... when you see the message "insane stunt bonus etc"... but no Unique jump message, does this mean you already have the unique one? I only need 1 jump so please help Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/129264-98-need-1-jump/ Share on other sites
Recluse
A number of the jumps are very picky with regard to the distance or landing requirements necessary to register the unique jump. Some of the pickiest ones are the ramp next to the Malibu Club, the staircase Lance was on in the "guardian angels" mission, and the small pallet ramps in the alley in Ocean Beach. One nice trick for getting extra speed to make the jumps with is to lean slightly forward during your approach so Tommy is ducking beneath the windshield of the bike. As far as crashing into the wall on the second jump you describe, that always seems to register that jump for me, and the angled ramp in little haiti is usually pretty easy to register as well. When you get the "insane stunt bonus" message, it either means you've already completed the jump or that your jump wasn't enough to register it as a unique jump...not really helpful in determining whether you've made it already or not. Demarest
Each Unique Stunt has a set of conditions for both take off and landing. If you get the slow motion camera angle, then you've met the take off conditions just fine. Landing is another story. There is no way of knowing for sure whether or not you've completed it accurately or not unless of course if the message pops up. You either have to keep at it, or pop into the Save N Play VC in my sig for assistance. For the record, coming in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the HOTRING counts as passing it for 100% Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/129264-98-need-1-jump/#findComment-1569265 Share on other sites
ReinierK
And how do I get the fast reload thingy? I already completed the shooting range like 5 times... It just says Mission Completed, but no fast reload or anything... :S Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/129264-98-need-1-jump/#findComment-1574275 Share on other sites

liberty girl
DUDE... 45 IS a 100% requirement?? crap...i won't make it then... haha i never get higher than 34 on that one... grrr any tips on that one?? and on the jumps...(i started a new game... i have all but the g-spotlight mission jumps done i decided to get them over with at the beginning...) well i just do the same one over and over again until the game tells me i got money for it in big letters... that's how i figured out i got the jump right... hehe and it seems like i had to do the guardian angel jumps like 10 times before it would give it to me... too too picky... haha Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/129264-98-need-1-jump/#findComment-1574987 Share on other sites
Demarest
For the shooting range, here's what I do: Shout out all the body panels of the front 2 things. Then keep shooting out the back one to get the most points. Then if you're down to just a few bullets, take out the front 2 for the most points. Spuds725
What Dem said but just to add--if you are almost out of time and you just shot out the back one (and it won't have time to create a new target ) also shoot out the first two--I got exactly 45 that way with 0 on the clock--its hard but possible--I read its easier on PC-- do you aim with your mouse in that version--would be cake with it (it seems anyway). ReinierK
First of all: I got 100%! cheers! It was a stupid jump at wash. beach which I'm positive I did before.. but what the heck, I got it. Second: You DO need to come 1st at hotring... 2nd won't do... About the shooting: the furthest target is 3 points, the middle 2, the nearest 1... Since you have a limited amount of bullets, ALWAYS shoot the furthest... you have plenty of time anyway... Or it's because I shoot with an accuracy of 95% CHeers Link to comment https://gtaforums.com/topic/129264-98-need-1-jump/#findComment-1576217 Share on other sites
liberty girl
jeez...i wish i could aim with a mouse!! hahah alas, i have the ps2 ver. BUUUT, i'm going to try that shooting the first 2 out all but the heads and just focusing on the back one... i get all nervous and watch the clock and i have a tendancy to shake if i'm trying to do something like aiming... (i SUCK at bomb da base on gta3... i NEVER get it on the first try hee hee) anyway, i'll try my hardest this go round, thanks for the advice all!! ReinierK
Ok I admit: I never tryed it on the PS2... however I played a lot of HALO on X-Box so I know how aiming is on a console... It's not really hard IMHO... I played Quake3 on rediculous level for years so that's a major advantage, but sincs you dont have to move a lot in the shooting range, it shouldn't be too hard on the console... just aim very relaxed and slowly... Time's on your side, eventhough you think it isn't Cheers and goodluck!
