Demarest 24
every time in install it when its loading it comes back with an error When WHAT's loading exactly? The first part of the sentence there makes it seem like something that's happening on install. If that's the case, then perhaps you CDROM drive or the discs themselves are faulty in some way. Demarest 24
Then the saves you have are either to a different SCM or possibly a different EXE. If they're your saves, then only you will know that.
Legendary Jedi 0
I'm Having The Same Problem, The Game Runs Smoothly For About A Minute Or So( If I'm Lucky) And Then The Game Freezes, A Window Appears Saying Unhandled Expection, I'm Goin Nuts!

MY LAST SAVED GAME IS "THE DRIVER" AND WHEN I TRY TO LOAD IT GIVES ME THE "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION" MESSAGE EVERY TIME!!! I HAVE WINDOWS XP HOME 2.4GHZ, PENTIUM 4, 64MB RADEON I'VE TRIED REINSTALLING: DOES NOT WORK. THE GAME DOES ALLOW ME TO START NEW GAMES, BUT I DON'T WANT TO START ALL OVER AFTER GETTING SO FAR! Still? You mean it hasn't changed since you created your own thread about it? Don't spam, please. Opius and I have already given you some advice in your thread. Check it out. Especially the part about using all caps and attempted overuse of text formatting. Don't make a nuissance of yourself
zifox 0
i have the same problem. at first i thought my savegame was corrupt, but then i got some savegames on the net, and i can't load those either. How can they sell a game with such bugs ????
Demarest 24
You assume the game is responsible for the inability to load the saves. Obviously you are mistaken and therefore accusing the game and its creators as being shoddy. For shame. Everybody knows that games have had bugs since the beginning of time and it adds character. Nowadays, with so many people working together to make a single game, it's impressive that they don't have MORE bugs. Anyways, when a save won't load but a new game works fine, you either have a SCM mismatch or an EXE mismatch. Assuming you've never modded the game, you're down to an EXE mismatch. I believe this only matters in the difference in version numbers. A fresh install guarantees a 1.0 EXE and downloading the patch gives you a 1.1 version. Experiment and find out. It's not that hard.
