Lilfuture 0
I searched and couldnt find a topic that matched my error, but if I just didnt see it, forgive me. On PS2 version of GTA Vice City - Legit copy - I have had it for about 6 months and in the last 5 days I have played it alot more then normal... Well just 1 hour ago I tried to play again and it went through the loading thing.. then it shows the "Loading Playstation 2 8MB memory card" window, then it goes to a black screen. I waited 15 minutes and nothing happened. Then I fooled around making sure all the wire were connected right, and tried 3 more times. No luck. Please help because waiting for PC version is too long for me. (By waiting for PC version - if your wandering - I ordered it) (By legit copy I mean I bought the game, and it is the original disk - err - dvd (doesnt PS2 use dvds? ) ) (and it hasnt been scratched anymore than it was last time I played it) Edit: Oh perfect.. I just read in an older topic that saving at Cherry Poppers can mess up your save file.. I had 33 hours of play time, $9,000,000, and 43% game completion.. Yes I know it's not alot, but to me it is because I started it recently and I deleted my old saves for it. And lucky me I have no backup save. Thank you R*. If anyone can tell me a way to fix this, it would be GREATLY appreciated. Atleast I learned 2 lessons: 1: Always have a backup save. 2: Read forums FREQUENTLY. wait a second.. 1 more.. 3: R* doesnt warn people. As for #3, if R* knew in time to warn people, they would've just fixed it. Keeping a rotating save is the best idea for any game.
