Well I do have a COL file fix on my site. But I doubt it's the most current one.

The one you're hosting is the most up to date generic.col we've got, so I've added a direct link in the official mods thread, and although I'm not exactly sure who's to be credited I'm fairly certain it was Skidz.

 

GT-1, make sure you've got the latest mapfix to go with that collision file, and thanks for the bug report on the Perennial, I'll add the link to the fixed version in the vehicles thread. Couldn't get that glitch with the cop car to work though, and should we leave the Esperanto as it is considering it's an authentic bug?

Thanks to GT-1 who brought up a bug in the Perennial's back windscreens, it's a bug no more. Trying to keep things simple the previously fixed Sentinel is in the download as well.

im a bit of an idiot, but here goes(1st id like to give credit to this amazin mod)

 

i dl-ed wo

 

then i dl-ed most of the neccessary patches for lc

 

but now my game has crashed, im pretty sure its the cars(i rebuilt the archive)

 

anyways, i dont want to ask how to fix it, cause there are millions of things it cud b. (i think its the order i installed

 

instead, i wud like to ask u to re-arrange the dl thread. i noticed most of the files were contained in othere bigger packages, so i dled it a number of times. i also didnt need half the files i fled, so i ended up downgrading my lc to older stuff.

cud u re-arrange the dl thread so i know wich 1s i have to dl and wich order to do that. i know sum guy blunted1(or summin like that) made a package with lc, but i alredy have gtawo release so i dont want to dl all over again(i am on 56k)

Hey,

I just figured out how to host files on edgefiles. It is kind of like fileplanet except since it is not as big there is ussually no wait. So, if you want i can host big files for you now. Actually, i plan on trying to upload the gta:wo beta this weekend. biggrin.gif

Well me and Killer.ip has this discussion a bit ago, when you have to original WO file installed you download all the files in the centraliazed download section. You only need the ones there at the moment but check for updates as they will be added by Killer.ip. You should be able to install the mods in any order, if you notice one mod conflicts with another, one part just put the newset version of that partcular file in there are only 1 or 2 like this though. But you need all of the files in that thread the official ones.

 

All the files there ate the newest versions, so you need them all.

 

I make a backup and just overite everytime I install a few mods into the game, then you dont have to start from scr again all the time.

The download list is about as optimised as it's going to get I'm afraid, I've already spent some time combining updates into single ones to try and avoid this doubling up problem as best as possible.

 

At the moment the Casino Heli Pad Update/Glass Fix/Mapfix share a few IDE files, but they're all the latest versions so it doesn't matter which order they're installed in. The only conflict I can see is between the Car Pack & Car Collision update, but a v1.1 pack update is going to be released soon I think so hopefully that should be that taken care of.

 

When you're installing the update's try to add one at a time and to backup your /data & /models folders in between, that way if something goes wrong you'll know what's causing it and have a working version to fall back on.

 

There's always the option of roger's Unofficial Installer, but if you do end up going down the manual install route and still have probs with any of the downloads in the list, let us know. smile.gif

I would suggest trying my installer, but that is alot to download just to fix your weapons even if it could come in handy later.

I havent been trying hard to fix the glitch but....

Your Autoinstaller wont Replace all the updates or any of the Player/peds/characters or any of that such thing will it?

Just wanted to know in advance

Fraid to say Blunted1 is but a memory on this board, and while his installer contains many of the updates released it has aged... it's been a couple of weeks since it became available and that time's already seen the release of several new files.

 

We've not actually started ped transfer yet, but the Fido player model is available in the Official Mods thread. As soon as Steve releases his character modelling tutorial we can start working on those peds. wink.gif

I wasnt really wanting to know if it would give me the GTA LC peds, players ECT. but if it didnt touch em at all. but no need seeing Blunted1 has PMed me regarding my questions,etc.

if you can make airtrain solid you can change it to be train..

Have you tried roger's unofficial version? I wish I could get some feedback on how well that works so we can at least make it official until a more recent one is compiled.

This is still the VC engine. So any customization you can use in VC, you can also use in LC.

@killer.ip: Any file hosted on my site is my own work. So although I started off with Skidz's COL file, I blanked the escalator COL and re-released it.

 

@karlneil: The south Staunton flicker has been solved.

 

@madguy: Which waterpro are you using? There was a discrepency as to who's was most accurate.
