I don't have anything in my CLEO. I gave it a try to see if I could get some things working, but I think we have to change a few things in the scm to get it to work better. When I have time again to work on this (and Silent is available to assist) I'll try to get that taken care of.

I don't plan on adding anything with CLEO. Anything we'd put in the mod would be done directly into the scm or with asi files. My intention with adding CLEO support is just setting it up so users can add their own CLEO files to personalize their own game. I'd even like to start a thread where LC specific CLEO scripts can be shared.

 

But it is not my intention to use CLEO for anything with the mod directly.

About that cleo delaying thing i mentioned, here's the asi i used: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1399262...leo_starter.asi

 

Code is very simple:

 

CODE Sleep(1000);

LoadLibrary ("./CLEO.dll");

CLEO.asi should be renamed to CLEO.dll and be located in root directory, cleo_starter.asi goes to root folder too.

 

I don't know what bugs it may cause.

 

UPD. I might have an idea why cleo scripts isn't compatible with GTA LC:

Original game:

CODE $2=player_char

$3=player_actor

 

GTA LC:

CODE $136 = $player_char

$137 = $player_actor

 

Shouldn't be too hard to fix.

 

UPD2: Okay, 100% of cleo scripts working with GTA LC.

You'll need 010 editor to run this script.

Copy VCCLEOtoGTALC.bat to CLEO folder, run it and wait a few seconds, it will convert vice city's cleos to compatible with GTA LC main.scm(this one, not sure about the others) cleos.

I've been following this mod off and on since it began. It's amazing what life has brought about in the time that this mod and its team has existed in its various forms. I'm glad to see that there are still folks dedicated to it. I actually just came across some of my old GTA3 backups that contains mods that I am interested in brining over to this... Whether I will or not might be another story. :p

 

Anyway, that was a nice stroll down memory lane. Look forward to the day I see version 1.0 released. ;)

Sorry for bumping, however I have some idea for an unofficial mod which would add more peds to the game... if there is interest in that I'll continue alongside a special main.scm version which will replace all the minor characters with unique models.

That crash would not have been related to the scm script so that log doesn't help much. The top lines may help someone like Silent know what happened.

 

I had seemingly random crashes while flying the DeLorean. Never seemed to narrow it down to anything I could fix in the scm. And they seem to happen rare enough that it doesn't screw things up too much.

Yeah, it's something related to Delorean. It didn't happen after that. I've not got any other crashes after that one.

craig I need some help with this 3.3 beta FIles.

I´ll tell you wath happenned

i installed gta vc. then en the LC directory i extracted beta 3.3 and update. the i put audio files of gta 3 in audio folder of gta vc. and i left the two files of gta vc. but i left too all audio files of vc with audio files of gta 3.

when i start game, sent me to the first mission. how can i start with city completely open and all missions?

 

i read something you posted about scm files. but i dont understand anything. i downloaded a rar wich contains: SOURCE-DBUG.SCM-MAIN.SC-MAIN.SCM-VICESCM.INI

????????????

 

i put source foulder in cleo foulder but notthing. and put the rest of files in data foulder but notthing. tell me if i did something wrong. another thing is how can i change color of money, life,armor,time,police stars,weapons like both of this:

If you open the ShowConfig file, you should open the launcher file. Click Advanced. In the debug tab, you can select Use Debug Script. That should launch the game with all of the bosses opened up. In the Appearance tab, you can edit the colors of most of the HUD. There's a few other tweaks you can do too.

 

Backup your gta-lc.ini file before editing if you want to save the official version.

i did thath of enable USE DEBUG SCRIPT but evertything continues normal: since the beggining, and the bridge is locked :panic::/

in data foulder i have the dbug.scm file but doesnt work. hope you can give me a hand.

PROBLEM SOLVED.

 

THE ONLY THING I HAD TO DO WAS RENAME dbug.scm to DBUG.SCM (and left the file in data foulder)

 

I TELL IT FOR EVERYONE WHO HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. :colgate:

I need some help with another thing. if somebody can give a hand, i will be apreciated.

I downloaded the enb series files and put it in gta vc directory. the game run perfect but when i star new game or load, before start, the game crashes and show a messaje for close it. i have insalled direcxt 11.

 

mi idea is uses enb in gta vc liberty city mod.

Use a different GTA VC executable. Steam will still apply the Steam API over the game and run like usual.

This mod restores the three idle animations from GTA VC on PS2 that are broken and only one frame. I made a GTA LC version of the mod because I felt it was weird to stand still when holding two handed weapons when he always is always moving considering his standing idle animation.

 

Perhaps this could be added to the official version as it restores a missing feature?

Adjust your graphics settings in the enb configuration and lower all the settings.

I guess I can convert my BETA GTA 3 Cars for this, also I will edit them specially for this mod (I will give them the original GTA 3 body textures). You can use them in this amazing mod if you want. :)

Addin' them without MVL might be problematic... good luck.

No. They will replace other VC Cars that aren't replaced. I aleardy adapted Sentinal Civilian to LC with Kuruma Body Textures. It will replace Washington.

Remember, that Washington uses sports car sounds in GTA LC. Also, fix the engine sound of the Yakuza Stinger, it's an Infernus engine by default (like in LCS :( ), so swap the ids with the Virgo.

EDIT: I did all of Civilian cars, there won't be Gang Cars thought. Only FBI version of Sentinal, which will replace fbiranch.
