Do you need to complete sets LCS Peds and GTA3 X-Box Peds as unofficial modifications, when will the beta 4 are realased?

Only one thing I like mostly as improvement in LC TC are roofs. Even LCS haven't this feature colgate.gif.

Could Instant Replay (F1) have a solution as easy as for the jet trails?

(PS: another scrolling LED sign is in Staunton Island at the top of a

building southeast of the parking garage.)

No. From what I understand, wanderers disable replay. In VC Rockstar used wanderers to control Cortez's boat in his last mission. So you could not do replays there either. With LC, we are using wanderers all the time to control the L-Train and subway. So unless we can recode that to work like in the exe, replays will likely stay off.

If the last opcode run is a wait command, the issues is likely not related to the scm. So you posted the exact opposite of what might be useful to us (by us I mean Silent). So if you have the log yet, please let us know the first part of the log (and the scm code can be left out).

 

I have been playing this for quite some time and do not get any regular crashes. Are there any other recent mods you added?

There's already a very big chunk of it that's done by the scm. Adding all of the path data too would probably be too much for it to be efficient. We used the scm to control the flight paths of the planes/helicopters in A Drop in the Ocean, SAM, and the Exchange. Those are pretty long themselves, but only run when they're needed to. I would guess if the entire function was in the scm, it would slow the rest of the game down and decrease stability.

I just downloaded the mod a min. ago. Extracted and entered correct VC exe directory.

But I get a error message called " Unhandled exception: c0000005

At Address : 00562d8b " sad.gif

Can anyone reply me with a tutorial of how to fix it?

Do you have the GTA3 audio files? If not the mod does not work correctly. If you don't have it, I think we have a link to some blanked out audio files that can be downloaded. We never included the GTA3 audio files for a couple of reasons, though that may change in the future.

 

I may try and work with Silent soon on a proper installer so these issues won't occur for new users.

Are you supposed to simply paste the GTA 3 audio into the audio folder? If I delete the Vice City audio, the game simply crashes, but if I don't, I hear weird and actually quite disturbing audio glitches.

 

Could I have an install guide to make sure I did everything correctly?

If I remember right, take everything from the audio folder of the GTA3 play CD and copy it to the audio folder of LC.

I'm having some issues after I installed the mod.

I've installed it on fresh GTA:VC game without mods or anything else, but it still crashes on me after I'm trying to open the game.

I've tried to reinstall the game as well as mod but still getting errors all the time, please advice me. suicidal.gifsuicidal.gif

If anyone needs and/or wants these, I made a double MVL pack featuring both VC and III cars. Credits from VC pack goes to Rockstar, as all the files are completely original & not modified in any way, while III (LC) pack is taken from GTA: Liberty City, with the permission of course. smile.gif

I realize III vehicles won't be much useful for GTA: LC, but IDK... Perhaps someone who replaced all the original cars with modded ones would like to have the original models back in the game? (Because I would... At least my favorite sedan, Kuruma) smile.gif

 

I also included "Cougar" in the VC package, it's a subversion of Virgo (beta or special version)

For all of you (if any), using my stock Vice City vehicles, please apply this WHEEL FIX

Otherwise, loading any cars using the missing VC wheels (see below) will result in crashing your game.

There you have it, sorry about that. I guess the link expired & they've randomly changed it with some other file, user...

DOWNLOAD Wheel fix, you'll have to use this in order to add any MVL mods which call for wheelID 237, 238 &/or 239... (unused, leftover wheels from VC)

 

Also, be aware that MVL runs unstable under GTA-LC, I've gave it a try & ended with lots of random errors, especially during the missions... Hopefully the 2 masterminds, Craig & Maxorator will find a common language to work it out, somehow icon14.gif

If you're serious about integrating MVL with GTA:LC, you might want to think about including my wheel fix with the next, official LC update. My update doesn't change anything in the game, all the models, wheels & textures are the same as yours except I've edited the *.DFF model to include those 3, unused VC wheel models you removed. Don't remember exactly, but think it's the wheel offroad (Rancher), wheel truck (Burrito) & those racing wheels, such as the VC Infernus for example.

 

Apparently you guys kept the IDs listed under default.ide, but the actual models have been removed, as you probably just converted "wheels.dff" from GTA3
