A call out to all of our translators, the gxt file has changed a bit since the last version. So the other languages should be updated before the final version is done.

I liked how they put that in the game. It makes me wonder if they may put that in GTA V's pause map. Anyways, I have a jail broken iPod Touch, and I could get them off of it for you. I don't remember but I thought I saw them in there in a format that you could open normally on a PC with out any GTA tools.

All new stuff is PNG, so yeah, all works wonders and is piss easy to extract and import:

Again, maybe it's just that I didn't install the LC mod properly, but I don't

see any difference when I change the gang behavior numbers in pedstats.dat.

In Rampages, I couldn't stop the fact that all gang members around try to

run away when Claude uses a Flamethrower, and otherwise, though I gave the gangs

the same numbers, some gang members are hostile and others aren't.

I think that pedstats.dat are mostly saved in the save.

I finally managed to do Trial by Fire. But I can't complete the Flamethrower

Rampage in south Staunton. I get the nearby targets but can't get the rest that run

away as soon as Claude uses the Flamethrower anywhere near them.

For me the flamethrower rampage looked like it was harder as I didn't see anybody spawn. But when I imply stood in the middle of the road, held down the fire button, and kept rotating, I passed it on my second try.

 

Either way, it looks like there is different behavior with the flamethrower in VC/LC, but I do not know if it's something that we could fix. I could make the time longer to compensate.

No new functionality has been added, but I've done quite a bit of work to the scm and I thought it would be a good idea to upload it. As I convert more missions to the high level code, I'll update this file. This could be very useful to people who may want to attempt to convert missions for the SALC mod as they have their map offset the same as ours.

Thanks--it worked! tounge.gif I'd add to rotate Claude in one direction then another (the

easiest way to do it uninterrupted with a mouse) and give an extra moment or so

of attention to a target that seems to need it.

"Escort Service": I meant to have Claude, who was riding on top of the Securi-

car in the tunnel, shoot the car ahead to get it out of the way and accidentally

had him hit the Securicar with a Molotov causing the one (or two?) in it to come

out and die. Since they left the door open, I had Claude get in and drive the

Securicar toward the destination.

 

The Securicar would be halted by intersections until I had Claude get out,

leaving the door open, and get back in again, for some reason. At one intersec-

tion, he closed the door behind him, locking it, so I didn't see if I could com-

plete the mission that way.

 

"Bait": the attacker's cars were a little wonky about following Claude's ve-

hicle through the entrance of the ambush lot. One, once it got in, kept running

into the inside of the wall by the entrance, backing up, hitting it again, etc.,

till it blew up.

 

"Love's Disapperance" should be "Love's Disappearance."

 

"S.A.M.": the Dodo is transluscent and you can't see it till it lands.

 

"Bling-Bling Scramble": the marker at the race site wouldn't accept a Rumpo or

Cabbie (which I'd modded) I had to use a Karuma and transfer to a Cabbie.

 

(Sorry if this is off topic, but doesn't this sound like Woody Allen explaining how to do

"Gripped"?):

We used the smg slit for the GTA3 uzi. That was long before we ever considered using the other weapons. We could overwrite one of the other vc ones.

 

I've been trying to think of a way to restart the missions after 100% is done for a while now. A lot of code would have to be changed. I do have a general idea of how it can happen.

We all know that MVL for GTAIII probably won't happen because of one reason or another, so therefore having MVL for GTA: LC seems like the most obvious solution... It would be interesting to see the GTA3 with 2 different versions of the Sentinels for example, Stallions, or even Idahos. IMHO, it would help with the overall realism of the game.

Yes, I agree... MVL shouldn't be the official part of LC, unless Max wants to make a special version, adaptation for this mod. If he does, then perhaps MVL could be integrated with the game, but disabled by default.

Make sure you're using the scm file that was included with the 3.3 files or the one in the 33fix package. The newer scm file would not be compatible with his save.

That would be a great start and I'd love to have those. Perhaps with those models (including the head models) we could figure out full cutscenes again.

I can convert models directly between versions, BUT I cannot rig them so if you're fine with finding another person to rig them for you, I'd be happy to convert them to VC for you. In fact I'm 99% sure I can convert them already rigged but I'm not sure if they're directly VC compatible.

 

EDIT: I tried but it doesn't seem to have worked as well as other xbox models I've converted unfortunatly confused.gif
