I've another question to the gxt file...some sentences of GTA III aren`t in the LC gxt and some of them aren't in the right color....are u sure that it is the final version?

I keep see people talking about having the beta 2 files when tbh I have see no links however I dont visit here much. I guess these are just the beta 2 test files since no official release seems to have been made...

I checked back a few pages, don't think this has been reported, sorry if it has.

The black things, LODs I guess? They're not solid. This was on a clean install of vice > LC beta 1 > LC beta 2 with the latest (that I could find) SCM dated 16th Feb. I started a new game, saved after Luigi's Girls, saved at Shoreside, loaded and flew back to Portland in the delorean (which is awsome btw), and I got this. (Actually when I loaded the first time I got an unhandled exception and the launcher gave me some debug code, but I tried loading again and it was fine, I'll post if it happens again)

If, as Craig implied, there is no good z value that will go under and over everything (if I misread the post, ignore me), it would probably be best to have, not rockyness, but bending to smudge accross the tops, so it all looks right at least.

So if you don't want to buy vc, play gta3.

If you have VC, you can install GTA:LC. But, if you want LC Radio in GTA:LC, You must find teh GTA3 Radio files and put them with the GTA: LC Files.

So could someone just like copy their folder (if they have one, maybe it's not a folder, a shortcut, link whatever) and PM me it? I don't know if there's any way to do that... but can you guys at least try?

Buy Vice City and don't ask for warez on this forum. It's against the rule s for a very good reason.

I have a question. I'm not quite sure if it's been answered or not yet, but I'll ask it anyway.

 

Basically, all the audio in my game is screwed up. Punching people makes the punching cars sound effect. Picking something up makes the sound of an engine revving. Shooting a person makes the rain sound. It's bizarre.

 

Anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know if this has been mentioned but in The Oriental Gentalmen I seem to get crashes first happened with after I had picked up the guy and tryed exiting the compound second happened when I had just finished watching the cut scene

I am using Beta 2 files on a fresh beta1 install.

There are a couple of misplaced markers in taxi mode on Portland island. At Ammunation, the marker is located back in the alley, made inaccessible by the fence. At the car dealership (I forget exactly what the place is called) the marker is further from the road than it should be, over by the Banshee inside the building. The other markers I saw appeared to be in their correct positions. I'm pretty sure this didn't start happening until I installed the beta 2 files.

Oh, I have an idea: Once everything important is finished, could you add something to randomize the playback of MP3s, so they don't simply play in alphabetical order by track title each time you start the game? That would be waaay cool.

I didn't read all of this thread (Might've missed some updates in here ) but, Asuka's 2nd mission crashes for me just after the mission name appears, also the game tends to hang if too much action is going on, 'scpecially with 3 wanted stars.
