Craig: Yes, because the ped animations were different in VC than in GTAIII, and I don't know how to convert .ifp files, sorry. I hope somebody will give their effort to convert it successfully.

I have a question about the player model.wouldnt it be easier to modify the vice city one so he looks like fido and then retexture him? dozingoff.gif

maybe GTA IFP Animation Importer/Exporter v0.1b would help if you need it you can get it Here it makes you able to extract animation files and then edit import them from/into vice city and gta3.i think.im not sure im just trying to help.i cant wait till beta 2 is relesed.its not my tool so please dont call me a tool thief or bann me. tounge2.gif

Whenever i shoot a gun near a yardie they will try to kill me, like the PIGs from VC.

Yeah I've noticed this too. Could it be another hardcoded nature? I wish you could calm them down, so that way, if you shoot near a Yardie, they don't fire back, like the "Security" Guards in Vice City.

cant you edit ped stads like copy the line from thos security people and repace the yardies with it?

I believe the Yardie/PIG gun thing is in the exe. If we can find it, we'll fix it.

 

@newbie3951: I noticed you have a "blue mod" that you made. Did you ever figure out how to change the pink arrow that points downward to things during missions? If so, could you help us out as that's really the last pink thing we have left.

umm, you know there was a very good snow mod for gta 3 already made... I'm sure it could easily be ported to fit this mod

 

there's no need to color screenshots in mspaint

Yeah i know that its already changed but i cant change them in the GUI.

 

It should be editable like the hud colors!

Honestly, your "snow" is CRAP. You just took LC/GTA 3 screen and PAINTED snow in image editor. PLUS, this is wrong thread for modding. noob.

the graphics havent improved at all since gta 3

They're not supposed to o_O

Just an Idea but in GTA Advance there is a HUD for the minigun and the Katana...maybe u can put them into the game.(Hidden of course) blush.gif

 

But I think the answer is NO confused.gif

 

It would make me and a few more guys very happy (cause there are those weapons in LC wink.gif and there are also the models for them in VC ) so u can do it in the official version without an unofficial mod colgate.gif

no i didnt but i think ins in the models folder in one of the txds i can try to figure it out.If i do then ill tell you.whats it called in main.scm?that might help look for it.

 

 

EDIT: i couldnt find it in one of those so its probably in the img file like the icons were or in the exe. sarcasm.gifblink.gifsarcasm.gif

Not all of the missions will be coded. But you will have to unlock certain things (helicopters will not be available until SSV is opened).

 

The beta 2 release will have these missions: All of the non-story line missions, all of the Luigi missions, Salvatore's 'Last Requests,' Asuka's first two missions, and all of the Kenji and Donald Love missions.

If you do that then there are almost no new features for lc it will be gta3 with poppable tyres and helicopters.
