Cartoon Corpse 0
well they helped me? did you register the game? oh their email changed too [email protected] (judy) is who i exchanged emails for 2 weeks (part time) with. she was helpful send a dxdiag and msconfig? file to her. you didn't mention alot of stuff in your post. i have p4, windows me, 1G rdram, atio 9700pro video card. anyway i had a 'virus' apparently...mine froze on the cartoon screen (had to unplug computer to get reboot!)... ran Avast (thorough and archive options...took over a day). it's afree virus checker (download.com). it found 12 innocent looking 'unscannable' files. i deleted them, game runs fine now! pretty weird. make sure you have all latest drivers from mfg'ers. sound card, video card, direct x, etc. Edited November 9, 2003 by Cartoon Corpse

SilverSleeze001 0
Try updating your motherboard drivers. Had the same problem on my brothers computer. Install the new motherboard drivers and it should work.
scarface_refugee 0
Mine did that before I bought Vice City, when I used a sh*tty downloaded copy. I used a crack and it the spinning disc went away and the game played. The DL version sucks so much I just bought the game.
