Luke15 0 Posted October 29, 2003 Share Posted October 29, 2003 Whenever i click the vice city icon, i wait for the game to load and it comes up with a "unhandled exception at 000006fc" I only bought it 4 days ago and havn't even got to play it! Even if it would, we can't help you in that aspect as no-CD cracks are a big no no because it is ASSumed that the bearers area warezers and therefore against forum rules. Out of wrapper or not, if the game discs themselves are bad, R* owes you a fresh copy. First, try things like updated drivers, etc. Or on another PC to at least isolate if it is the game or the comp at fault. BTW, installing VC automagically puts DX9 on the machine. kutter 0 Posted October 30, 2003 Share Posted October 30, 2003 exceptions begining with 000 are hardware problems. one of your hardware bits is incompatible, or try this: turn it off, unplug it, remove the RAM chip(s), and plug them back in securely. always works for my computer.
