God damned Seattle traffic. I probably could've made it to the show on the 9th, but my mom didn't want me to drive in Seattle traffic, considering I just got my liscense.

 

We got to a little before the Tacoma mall and got off the freeway. Went through tacoma, and up to the ampitheatere.

 

Never even had to go through Seattle.

Bobaflex: They played first. Meh, I thought they sucked, so I just went and got my I Am The Law Shirt, and the Gigantour tour shirt.

 

Nevermore: They f*cking rocked. Crowd went crazy during the solo in Final Product

 

Life Of Agony: Didin't even watch them. Me and the friend went and hung out at the FYE tent and talked with people. Friend ended up buying the Megadeth greatest hits cd so Megadeth would sign it.

 

Fear Factory: Loud was the first thing I thought when there set started. Not a huge fan, but it was cool to see them.

 

Anthrax: f*cking yes. Scott Ian got a circle pit started during Caught In A Mosh. I ended up getting sucked into it. During Anthrax's set this guy in a weelchair got in the pit and we crowd surfed him. It kicked ass.

 

Megadeth: Yes yes yes yes yes. Sung along to every song. Surprised me when I could just remember every word to almost the entire set. During Peace Sells alot of people from the other bands came out to sing during the end of the song. The encore was Holy Wars, and I swear almost the entire pit area was moshing. It ruled

Scarface: Being this was my first concert, I was just a tad bit nervous about the mosh pits.

 

I ended up moshing only to Anthrax and Megadeth because those were the two bands I really cared about seeing, and It could be the only time I see them.

I'd try some Testament, Overkill, Metal Church, Kreator, Death Angel, Obituary, Slayer, Morbid Angel, and Celtic Frost. They all sort of sound like your cup of tea.

the line of death and ton of bricks are classic tracks.

id definately recommend this.

 

the newer stuff is ok but quite different, they even have a different vocalist.

overkill is also a good mention, ill add a few.

back when they were heavily influenced by rob halford and judas priest.

anselmo even sounds similar ro halford.

anyways just curious, i was digging through some of my old old metal and i found that.

good luck ever getting a copy for yourselves though, i dont think its in production anymore.

Metal Church's self-titled debut album was their best, hands down. Every* track is killer. Their second release, The Dark didn't match anywhere near the expectations of their debut, but it's a solid album nonetheless. It reminds me more of a classic rock record with partial thrash influence.

 

Speaking of Judas Priest I've ben listening to British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance and Ram It Down non-stop. All of these albums are completely f*cking killer.
