Today I bought an original cd copy of the Armed And dangerous EP by Anthrax and Kill 'Em All by Metallica. Both are very good, and I'm glad I found that old of a cd(Armed And Dangerous) in such good condition.

So, I got Opeth's Deliverance and Blackwater Park albums. Good stuff. I heard Damnation is softer and more progressive so i'll check that out as well.

In other news, I've recently been listening to the following albums a lot latley because I haven't had the chance to pick anything new up yet.

Annihilation Of The Wicked - Nile

 

Live After Death - Iron Maiden

 

...And Justice For All has grown on a lot since I got it. It's probably my second favorite Metallica album next to Ride The Lightning. As for when I get a new album I'm going to get either Deliverance or Morningrise by Opeth and while I'm at the store look for some Sodom and hope I'm lucky enough to find a few albums.

I listened to that Byzantine. Great stuff, but I just can hardly get past the scream style metal-core vocals. Seems like there's tons of bands doing that these days so it must sell. Seems annoying to me. Of course my idea of great vocals is Malignancy and the like..

If you haven't picked up Nevermore's "This Godless Endeavor", you shouldn't be allowed to call yourself a metalhead. This album has to be one of the top metal releases of the year, next to Strapping Young Lad's "Alien" and of course the new Opeth to come.

CHILDREN OF BODOM have recorded a cover version of BRITNEY SPEARS' "Oops I Did It Again" for their upcoming single, "In Your Face". The cover artwork for the single has been posted online at Spinefarm.fi. The single, which is scheduled for release in Finland on August 17 via Spinefarm, will contain the following track listing:

A total of two cover songs were recorded during the recording sessions for the group's new album, "Are You Dead Yet?". The second cover song will be used as bonus track for the Japanese version of the album.

I was just playing around. I love Slayer and Anthrax and some Metallica. The only Metallica albums I like are Kill 'Em All, Ride The Lightning, Master of Puppets, and ...And Justice For All. Some other bands that I like are Pantera and Megadeth of course.

oh and I also picked up the Metallica "Cliff 'Em All" dvd.

Cool. I rented that DVD once. It was f*cking awsome. It featured many of their classics. And I thought it was funny when they showed Cliff stoned. I just couldn't stand how the whole thing was shot with a camquarter though.
