menace, I suck, I didn't even ever see slayer. I was really into them at the time though

 

 

 

I saw Slayer this summer at Ozzfest.

Tonight (or I could say last night) I saw some sick ass local metal bands who rented out a pearpacking wearhouse to do a concert. Four bands, one was a freaky f*ck who put animal bones all over the stage. First band Evisceration, f*cking was awesome the lead guitar and rythm were playing in sync and it was great. Some freaky dudes started moshing, everyone got in it. Other bands were Bloodgnome, Antimony, and below Ground.

 

If you live in Northern Cali you might have heard of them

Oh yeah, that megadeth show. It was kind of a dangerous situations because it was at the Municiple Auditorium at Armstrong Park in New Orleans, not a very big place, and the audience was going ape sh*t and they had us packed in ther like sardines. When Megadeth came on the whole pit audience starding doing this wave sort of thing as the more hard core element were forming a mosh pit. Then I was knocked down so quick I didn't even know how it happened but my friend helped me up and I was ok, but I feel very lucky that I wasn't trampled kicked or something. Interesting experience to top an awesome show.

Hehe, this may anger the 'heavy metal only-ers' but Ive had a near identical experiance....except it was at an Afi show in Seattle

 

Hate all you will, I do not mind, i understand....but funny story....to be very honest, the theater/club/whatever you want to call it was so goddamn packed, it formed that exact tight sea of people stuck in between concrete walls that move as one, it was a rather splendidly violent atmosphere and after Bleeding Through left the stage and Afi came on, funny enough every single little goth fangirl that was there was completely trampled by the rest of the people filling in....anyone under 125 pounds was sucked under like a vaccum

 

Same thing happened at Slayer a couple years ago but it was an arena, much less cohesive of a mass

I think there pretty good. The band looks like they were made in a hot topic store but there sound is pretty good.

I wasnt there to see them whatsoever, but I thought you would be more upset about the 'other' band

Yes we will leave that subject in the past. The new slayer dvd imo is much better than war at the warfield. They play all of reign in blood and six extra songs.

All you do is print out a graphic from online, say of Opeth, on special paper. Then what you do is cut out the image and iron it on a shirt. It works surprisingly well and doesn't come off in the wash.

Imo band logos are the most unoriginal things to get for a tattoo but in your case I think the opeth O would make a sic piece of ink. I'm talking about those fans that get the bands logo tatted on the arms or they copy a member of the bands ink. Like when I went to see metallica there was a guy shirtless who had all of metallicas albums tatted on his back and I thought he looked ridiculous.
