Death Angel - Archives and Artifacts Includes Death Angels Kill As One Demo(produced by Kirk Hammet) and other assorted demos, The Ultra Violence, Frolic Through The park, and a DVD of there videos and some live stuff.

Or you could browse Ebay and look for the original Enigma releases.

Added to wishlist.

I don't use eBay anymore, a freind of mine got totally jacked out of about $75 on CD lots - not worth it IMO - i ahve no budget, why not buy everything brand new?

Is the Legacy by Testament good? I saw it in FYE the otehr day but didn't buy it, seeing as I have no idea if the album was any good.

It's alright. Practice what you preach and The New Order are better.

If you already have Death Angel's first two albums, DO NOT get Archives & Artifacts. The unreleased music that is on one of the CDs contains tracks that ALL suck and the video DVD is just like two videos and a small interview video before they released The Ultra-Violence. It's like 15 minutes long. Not really worth it.

All I have to say is, Lamb of God > *

July 13th, I'll be seeing them.

I heard they put on a pretty boring show, which is somewhat obvious. Crowd didn't look too excited during the concert. They're more focused on right playing then rocking out.

But if you had a choice, would rather;

1) Watch a band play perfectly like the Album, but be like fukcing logs.

2) Watch a band rock out like no tomorrow, but play like a dying pig.

I'd rather see the band rock the f*ck out. I can listen to their polished music at home.

But anyway even if Lamb of God tries to play they still sound like a dying pig. Except they stand there like logs.

31/05/2006 PROOF THAT THE SKY IS NO LIMIT FOR IRON MAIDEN!

Iron Maiden front man Bruce Dickinson has many talents. In addition to the lead role as singer and songwriter for Iron Maiden, Bruce hosts a Radio Rock show each week for the British Broadcasting Corporation; presents occasional TV Documentaries, and is First officer for the British Airline, Astraeus.

During Maiden's last tour, much to the delight of British fans Bruce, in his piloting capacity, chartered a Boeing 757 from Gatwick to Rejavakik, Iceland and Dublin, Ireland to see Maiden perform. The fans were knocked out with the Bruce Air 666 experience, and in response to repeated requests from Scandinavia fans, Bruce will now fly a very special route from Stockholm to Milan during Iron Maiden's forthcoming Winter Tour 2006!

Scandinavian tickets for the 2006 tour, which went on sale back in February, just flew out the door - all 95,000 tickets sold out almost immediately.

Here in Sweden all three of the original shows sold out in just over an hour! A third date was immediately added at the Stockholm Globe which sold straight out in hours giving an amazing total of 48,000 sold out Swedish tickets.

Bruce Dickinson says 'As you can't get tickets for a Maiden show in Sweden for love nor money, I thought it would be a very special experience to personally fly our very amazing Swedish fans from Stockholm to witness two Iron Maiden shows in Milan! I also made sure that our fan club members were offered first access to Bruce Air, Flight 666'. A few remaining tickets will be go on sale to the general public at 10am GMT on Thursday 1st June.

Details of this very special trip are: -

Saturday 2nd December flying STOCKHOLM Arlanda to

MILAN Malpsensa Airport to see Iron Maiden perform TWO nights at the Milan Forum on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December. Returning to Stockholm early hours of Monday morning.

Special exertion price of SEK 8,000 to include: -

* Return flight on Bruce Air Flight 666, piloted by Bruce

* Exclusive Bruce Air in-flight goodie bag

* One night's bed and breakfast at hotel near to venue

* Standing ticket to Iron Maiden concert for BOTH concerts

* Advance privileged access to the venue to allow first access to the stage barrier

* Souvenir photo of the passengers of Flight 666 on the Iron Maiden stage with Bruce Dickinson (to be taken before the venue doors open to the public), and signed by Bruce Dickinson

(Price includes airport taxes, internal transport between the airport and hotel and is based on sharing twin room at hotel). Management reserve the right to amend the schedule accordingly.

Availability: The Boeing 757 seats 190 passengers

How to hold your seat:

As on previous Bruce Air trips, our colleagues at International Concert Travel will administer the trip.

Source.

That sounds cool as hell. I can just imagine Bruce as a pilot.

Heh, wow. How cool would it be for Bruce Dickinson to come in over the intercom? He'd have to put every statement in the form of a killer scream. Haha

But, certainly he's showing Slayer a thing or two; all they're doing is charging outrageous prices for t-shirts.

I'm still listening today, however. I have Seasons in the Abyss playing right now.

IMMORTAL To Reunite? - June 6, 2006

Ex-IMMORTAL frontman Abbath (real name: Olve Eikemo) — who is in the studio recording the debut album from his new project I — has told Germany's Rock Hard magazine that a reunion of his former band is currently in the works. Speaking to Volkmar Weber in the magazine's May 2006 issue, Abbath said, "We will come back, stronger than ever. I [recently] met with Horgh [ex-IMMORTAL drummer, curently in HYPOCRISY] for the first time in over a year. He's built his new house here [in Norway], right around the corner. In the next few days we will begin to rehearse our old 'Blizzard Beasts' [1997] classics. I'm already really [excited about] the idea."

Responding to a question about possible accusations that IMMORTAL would only be reuniting to cash in on their former glories, Abbath said, "To clear that up: we're not coming back for the money. If we had been only interested in the cash, we wouldn't have allowed IMMORTAL to split in the first place."

As to when fans can expect the reunited IMMORTAL to grace the stages once again, Abbath said, "IMMORTAL are like timeless frost. One year more or less doesn't make a difference. We have all the time in the world."

In addition to Abbath, I's current lineup includes original IMMORTAL drummer Armagedda, ENSLAVED guitarist Arve Isdal and GORGOROTH bassist King ov Hell. The band's debut album, which will feature lyrics written primarily by former IMMORTAL guitarist Demonaz (real name: Harald Nævdal), is scheduled for release in September via Nuclear Blast Records.

Slayer's Cult is now up for streaming at the Slayer site

Song's pretty good. Lyrics are cheesy(as you can see below) But Tom sounds like he's not just yelling like on GHUA. Chorus is quite catchy too.

Oppression is the holy law

In god I distrust

...the eventual fall

Like ashes to dust

..., the master plan

The Bible's where it all began

It's propaganda...depair

Its fire is everywhere

Religion is hate

Religion is fear

Religion is war

Religion is rape

Religion is obscene

Religion is a whore

There is no f*cking Jesus Christ

There never was a sacrifice

No man up on the crucifix

Beware the calls of purity

Infectious imbecility

I've made my choice

SIX SIX SIX

...

priest

....

....

....

Forgive me father for I have sinned!

Religion is hate

Religion is fear

Religion is war

Religion is rape

Religion is obscene

Religion is a whore

There is no f*cking Jesus Christ

There never was a sacrifice

No man up on the crucifix

Beware the calls of purity

Infectious imbecility

I've made my choice

SIX SIX SIX

Jesus is pain

Jesus is good

Jesus is the blood that's spilled in war

He's everything, he's all things dead

He's pulling on the trigger pointed at your head

In fear you're sold into the front

Revelation

Revolution

Acting through your praying delusions

The war chair just drags along

My only god is growing strong

His propaganda shouts despair

Inflicts the violence everywhere

Religion is hate

Religion is fear

Religion is war

Religion is rape

Religion is obscene

Religion is a whore

There is no f*cking Jesus Christ

There never was a sacrifice

No man up on the crucifix

Beware the calls of purity

Infectious imbecility

I've made my choice

SIX SIX SIX

That Slayer song is pretty badass. If the whole album is like that then it'd be good.

The lyrics aren't that cheesy. Just the same old sh*t Slayer always sings about.

Slayer song kind of disappointed me, but kind of excited me in a way. Tom doesn't seem like he's going to just do his yelling-trying-to-keep-up-with-the-tempo crap; however, the song was instrumentally lacking, in my opinion.

Meh, I think I'm just hard to satisfy.

Oh I agree, I probably enjoy Necroticism, Tools of the Trade, and maybe even Symphonies of Sickness more than Heartwork, but god damn it's a pretty album.

You would've thought that after so many years, Slayer would have found inspiration to make music about something else. I mean, I know it's what Slayer does best but I mean sh*t, look at Sodom - musicially their musical formula didn't change a whole lot but at least they found inspiration to sing about the terrors of war instead of religion.

Actually, I think the lyrics suck, just by reading them. But I'll save my final opinion for when I hear the song.

I personally don't think Slayer's put anything worth while in years, and this song still sits pretty "eh" with me.

Yeah that song really isn't that impressive. Though I will admit though, "Cult" is a badass name for a song and at least Tom doesn't sound like he's screaming his lungs out a la G.H.U.A. Me being a "sorta" (ex-)die hard Slayer fan I will probably buy the album the say of it's release.

Say, does anybody else think that the guitars on that track sound SEVERELY downtuned, a la St. Anger? That's the first thing I thought when I heard the third riff (before the actual verse).

You talking about the slow one? Because that sounded like it to me.

I'm going in to FYE tomorrow. Thinking about picking up the new Cannibal Corpse, Demigod or The Slaves Shall Serve EP by Behemoth, Assassination by Krisiun, Metal Black by Venom, Third World Genocide by Nuclear Assault, Frozen In Time by Obituary, or The Art Of War by Vader. I'm trying to decide which I should get. I'll most likely get two of the above listed.

It sucks being somewhat strapped for cash, I only allow myself to get two albums at a time, so I ended up grabbing Vio-Lence's Eternal Nightmares and Leviathan's Howl Mockery at the Cross. I've been looking for the new Sadus, but to no avail. sad.gif

I believe you can go to the mascot Records site and buy the Sadus album. I believe they sell the limited edition of it too. It's got a bonus disc with one unreleased song, and two covers. One is Iron Maiden's Invaders and Dark Angel's Merciless Death. I'm definitly interested to see how Invaders sounds.

NUCLEAR ASSAULT: 'Louder Harder Faster' DVD Due In October - June 10, 2006

Screaming Ferret Wreckords has set an October 10 release date for NUCLEAR ASSAULT's "Louder Harder Faster" DVD, recorded during the band's performance at the 2005 Louder Harder Faster Festival. The DVD will feature three hours of footage, including the thrash legends' complete live set, as well as vintage footage, two new music videos, two unreleased songs, in-the-studio footage, slide shows and interviews. More information will be made available soon.

NUCLEAR ASSAULT's latest studio album, "Third World Genocide", was released in August 2005 via SPV/Steamhammer Records. The group's first collection of new material in ten years was previously described as "a rich blend of NUCLEAR ASSAULT's lethal, politically conscious metal and songs showcasing the band's wicked sense of humor."

Should be cool, though they really need to reissue there older albums, Survive being top priority.

Well, f*ck balls. I had been trying to get an original Combat release of Killing Is My Business that hadThese Boots for a while, and then there was the time some sh*tface outbid me by about $50 on a copy of it once. Now a friend just bought one off of amazon for about $6 and has rubbed it in my face for like a week. I swear by wednesday that damn cd will be mine.
