If someone who knows about this stuff, be it illy or diabolyX or anyone who knows, and there's a final lighting setup, I'd be happy to give it a try.

Providing there's idd a step-by-step explanation for a 6-year old, preferably with screens of each step . (I know I'd probably mess it up otherwise.)

Yeah, i must do a tutorial like this one, but i dont have much time this morning, maybe later today ... I'm again modeling for my other mod so, it's difficult to find time now.

Though I think such a tutorial is needed, maybe you should wait untill there's the final lighting set-up. I was thinking that, once the train tracks are done, maybe you and illy could work some settings out together, seeing that it's you two that seems to know the most about this stuff. Then a tut (with screens ) would be awesome .

Set up some proper lights (as in, like, a full daylight system, not just an omni or generic sun), goto advanced lighting options, and enable radiosity. Then, err, guess what settings to use for exposure control (and if you have any luck figuring them out, tell me ). Finally, buy a supercomputer or wait around for a few days for it to calculate. 

Well, I'm pretty sure I just messed something up.

I've nearly finished with the museum (the actual museum is all but finished, except the lot is intertwined with another lot), except when I undertook the train project, most of my illcom work took a back seat. I intend to make the last few things (cinema signs, billboards and storefronts) and have the whole lot released in about a week. Hopefully then I'll finish up with the rest of my lots and release them (the upgrades on Pacific Bay, actually pretty much everything there is completely new, mansions and this) soon after, then I can concentrate fully on illSTA and Port Orchid. I've mentioned it before, but it would probably be best not to bother with converting any of my old stuff into MI-SA, since everything is being overhauled.

THe last beta version is 0,4 i mean the most recent, and there isnt actualy a goal when the mod needs to be done and i think there wont be set a goal or a deadline since everyone is doing this as there hobby and not a job and i hope we will soon get our hands on the massive work ReSpawn has made everyone is waiting for it to get ported to SA. but for now just wait till the installers get updated.

i've reuploaded it a few times and it isnt corrupted for me try to save right click save as and use WINRAR or any rar- unpacking program.

 

 

filesize should be 3,32 megabytes if its not you are downloading the wrong file or your internet isnt working properly so anyone please report here is the package is still corrupted. And it isnt corrupted if you cant open it you just need to have the right tools. And i checked the file myself i downloaded it and unpacked it and no errors.

I'll start off with problems then.

 

Any idea on what might be causing this obscure whiteness?

 

Also, when I render the model is too bright. I only imported the 3ds after adjusting something in the model with zmod (UV mapping).

 

 

The blurred out area is something you guys aren't supposed to see yet.
