You must have a clean, unmodifies install of vice to install. If that model can't be found it means that something has been modified before!

It could be just one mission object for some reason. You could make a dummy by creating a file and renaming it BOATCRANELG0.DFF and add it to gta3.img with the img tool

Im wondering, when I tried to add:

To the main.scm, it said the following error when trying to compile:

Why does it give me that? And if you guys doesnt want me to edit the SCM sorry, but I really need taxi boost.

If anyone could do it for me or just help me, I'll be really happy.

In future please do not double post, simply edit your existing post to avoid breaking the forum rules.

 

Did you attempt to install the modification over a clean un-edited copy of Vice City because this is what you need to do. If you have installed any other modifications to VC it can cause problems. Make sure you only try and install each sections (tick-box) once also or else you will be attempting to edit files which have been removed.

 

My recommendations would be to install a fresh clean copy of VC, or if you have it backed up copy and paste the data and models folder into the problematic Myriad folder. After you have done either of these install the modification, ticking all the boxes in the installer and it should work without problem.

 

Have a read through the read me.html as you will find it helpful.

 

Marklund, I don't know much about mission coding but you may find more help in the Mission Coding forums, unless it is a Myriad only related problem?

No, it's the same opcode I used for implenting the taxi boost for VC-MP (Just for private usage with friends) and the liberty city modification. It works with no problems there, but on MI I get that label error.
