Trying to make it more LC style type of building.

That building is looking good BH, your moddeling skills are coming along nicely

Looking nice. Make sure the rectagle lengths are the same,

otherwise you'll end with a building that has a windows twice

as large as the window next to it, and I'm pretty sure you don't

want that.

Well my Myriad crashes and I never blamed it on the SCM file. I always blamed it on certain lots. If you are able to fly around the entire island's highway with a Skimmer without crashing, the game will crash a lot less often than if you don't do that.

Another update.

 

Added stuff:

- Myriad post office, elevator teleport

- Planet Myriad, unique stunt jump (impossible jump ?)

- JasonB Plaza and Corp Court, helipad teleport

- massivesoft, unique stunt jump from nron roof to massivesoft roof

- ODIE's Myriad Mansions (it's a secret)

Yes, but even better, we could have a Firefighting Helicopter which replaces the Police maverick. We could replace the sparrow or the sea sparrow with the new police helicopter, then it could finally have guns, with sea sparrow. We can use the devconsole to place a water hose on the police maverick and somehow implement missions with it. btw I tried the water thing and it works good, we would just have to either reise the helicopter or place a water hose, as it is above the cabin.

 

I hope that made sense.

The sign already is a seperate object, this isn't quite the final release, only a few little things need to be done, like fixed textures and doors. Then it will be final.

@Barton:

With the code that takes you from the door on my skyscraper (the really big one, not the medium one) could you make it so the door takes you to outside on of the elevators in the corridor and the other one takes you to the roof.

Also you may want to get rid of the unique jump at bolocha mole (planet myriad) because its as you said impossible.

And lol at the Myriad Mansions thing, even if it is a tad unrealistic.

Also if you wouldn't mind I may want you to make a few missions for me (I was going to do the coding myself but im busy and havn't coded in months, probably lost any skills I may or may not have had), if your interested reply and i'll PM you what i want done.

for pick sake ! why you all can't texture buildings so they will look much better not like that they was build today... use some dirt and shading like in all gta games and other games to make it realistic

shiny buildings? in't not like you making a car...

 

and maybe chage green widows to blue ?

but anyway good job

How about reducing the light level in the prelighting thing you got going ? Isn't 255 the highest light level possible ? Like a lightbulb ? Would make your work look more pro if you ask me (and you don't I guess). Less shiny buildings as Snow Racer said (and that's why I bothered bringing it up). I'm still clueless when it comes to things like this though. whatsthat.gif

If it is, you need to remove it from the ipl file in the next release.

If people would just leave it to die on its own accord then there wouldnt be a problem at all now would they. Also it doesn't need two people to say lock this, as after GTAuron posted it started going back down but when Cran posted it was kicked back to the top.

 

Don't know whether I should lock it up or not, I dont want anyone to see it as a pointless lock. But yeah i'll lock it and send REspawn a PM, he or any other mods here can open it back up if they feel it should be open. smile.gif

Maybe its a matter of personal opinion, however I don't currently mind how the pre-lighting is maybe it is too light. But to re-light all the buildings to a new correct standard would be a bit of a painstaking task to do. Thats one major problem behind re-doing them, however if enough people are in favour of a draker pre-lighter then maybe it would happen?

cya and for all the people this is not an official fix this is just made by me and beeing a fan of myriad islands i just wanna help some people out tounge.gif

 

the only thing left to do for this colfile is removing 2 invisable walls

so ill do that when i succeeded i will post it here

oh almost forgot

bugs solved

 

- you can now walk at the back of the building the only thing thats blocking your way now is the invisable wall at the side of the building but all invisable walls at the back are removed now to just jump over the wall and walk around the building if you find something weird report it here k

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some darker prelighting. It makes the game seem a little more atmospheric and realistic, and less neon super-happy-funtime-land.

nd I like very light buildings more. Solar they any! And to live it would be desirable. And the dark buildings Mytriad Islands will not go. I consider(count), optimum level pre-light, as in addition from Gforce (Pharmaceptical Labalotories).

I guess that crashed it then. Sometimes parked cars need to be put about 1 meter above ground. And I guess the sea sparrow must be put on land then. It never showed up in the marina.

 

edit: And I still get no message from that damn debug viewer.

from your first pic i didnt noticed that one and for the other pics i cant remove that wall i need the actual sketchup model for that to remove that i think

 

the last thing to fix are those 2 problems you posted onthat pictures read my last post

and that wall is from the right to the left a really big wall is that and im still not seeing a solution so just wait for a fix by me or by [email protected] although it still stays his building
