the problem is with the colfiles having no lodcol's i'm fixing this now will be back with an update..............................

most of the time a ding on the pink loading bar usually indicates a colfile problem  wink.gif

I KNEW that had to be the problem

I was too lazy to look through the ide lines to see if something was trying to be called on taht wasnt there. Anyway yeah works now, one thing though the base lot needs pre-lighting, I know you didnt change it so you didnt include it, but it steel needs to have been done really. Anyway looking great. smile.gif

It will look alot better when its finished due to the pre-lighting, but imo this is pretty damn nice. Good work SR I like the layout of it, although your path texture doesnt meet with the generically used path texture. But nice work I like it.

i keep getting crashes on the pink loading bar even with your latest release.. and now when i remove all files from it to try and locate which file it is it still crashes confused.gif

 

[edit] i managed to track it down to a missing col file which had been removed in the earlier version of this lot, so i was able to replace it and it all works fine smile.gif

 

i was a bit confused though as to why you removed the sewer system wow.gif [/edit]

I was having troubles with water in my pipes. So I took it out. confused.gif

@GT-1 the landbase model is the original from blankland and has not been changed, i will prelight the landbase to the new lighting standard when i get the time

 

@Bungle i advise you install myriad again, if there was anything wrong with this release GT-1 would have had something to say about it biggrin.gif

i edited my post saying that i had fixed the problem tounge.gif

it took me a while going through every single file that associated with that lot, but i'd rather do that than install all what i have in there again confused.gif

 

Redkiller: sorry to hear about that confused.gif .. is a that a permanent decision?.. just i used to like driving around in there when i could hardly see where i was going tounge.gif

-Deleted paths around SR's lot

-Fixed some random path anomalies

Does this also fix the ped paths on the eastern side of Rkland? I'm not at home right now, so I can't check.

 

If not, the peds walk in the grass (and around light posts that aren't in the way?) instead of the sidewalk.

I think Rk forgot about the front door, btw. I don't see it as a huge issue though.

how about a coder who ain't too busy to code and is more committed and don't continually complain about idea's or building's that other people come up with, and actually want's to push this project forward instead of holding it back and can actually use an updated gxt file with all the vehicle names changed and give people what "they" want and not what "he" want's and doesn't refuse to code when people put forward valid idea's that fit in, and doesn't use not some half arsed coding that causes the game to continually crash and get people fighting over what is causing the problem's, and realises that not all building's need missions and also realises you dont need interior's to make use of nice looking building's that could be used for drop off point's or pick up points or even rampage mission's or health pickup's, and actually make use of cutscene animations just like some of the methods used in all the GTA game's including San Andreas which has more than 2 dance locations, and someone who doesn't see parked car code as a reasonable excuse for his participation in a project that is nearing 18 months old and has less than 10 missions included, FFS Barton put some f**king effort into this project, some of us are getting extremely fed up with your continual negativity, instead of constant smartarse comment's maybe you could put in some constructive positivity for a change, at the end of the day we all see you as our mission coder if you don't want this job i suggest you f**k off or get yourself a copy of zmodeler and start making some models yourself, otherwise shut the f**k up and let the people that are actually doing something around here get on with what they are doing, what would this mod be without the map modeler's ?, NOTHING!! but a car park on an empty island. i personally have a great respect for your coding skills but it really is about time you were told that your continual negative outlook on this project is becoming extremely tiring, no matter how good your coding skill's are.

Think of something fun that should go in Myriad and make it happen, or if your really looking for something to do I could send you the plans I have for some missions for the powerplant, instead of me doing them when im done modelling lots sigh.gif
