At a guess rate 90% of the problems that people have said here, elsewhere, email, PM or whatever have been because people have not read the readme fully. I even included it twice purposely so people would read it.

Look GT-1 I followed your's read me and got a crash after installing 4 lots. I find what is wrog (I guess) when you install a fresh VC copy all files is marked as Read-only then you edit .exe file with limit adjuster it doesn't seve's cuz its marked as Read-only. Second time I removed the read-only and it work's without crashes.

I said 90% btw and I guessed that everyone would know to remove read only for the VC limit adjuster to work. Im sure Steve-M put it in his readme somewhere, I included that also.

 

All im saying is installing this is basically common sense, its very easy as long as you follow all instructions given. Anyway you have it working now which is the main thing. Have fun!

I just played for 1½ hour with NO CRASHES! And it didnt even crash at the credits screen. -IHTS

Might be a good idea to add about the Read-Only thing to the readme for the next version (if there's going to be another one...). It still seems to come up as a problem in the forums about once a week. And of course the general public who might want to install this but have no modding knowledge won't have a clue!

hay i seem to be having a bad time of it .....gt-1 why is it ? every time i install this, thats been (10 times now )i follow the readme to the

letter, and EVERYSINGLE TIME its been marvelous, hasn't crashed Once.......

I want the Screenshots topic be by itself. Remember the dial-up users?

I'd have the screenshots in a pinned topic in one of the sections and put up a 56K warning, there was a forum that did that once, not sure which one but they had soooo many pics that they put up a half megabit warning aswell.

 

Make sure not many disscussions take place in the topic though, just screenshots.

My script and spaceeinstein's script are Identical apart from the First line, this does not effect the script in any way, I do recommend my script as it helps get over the Texture Problems that some users are experiencing.
