No. Just on the clean just installed VC

Wait some time, when you click on close and a message appears asking you to quit, click no, because then the installer didn't finished.

If no message appears the installer should quit.

 

GT-1, great work. You put so much afford into this, it works great.

We wrote a news on gtareactor.de, so hopefully some more germans find their way to Myriad.

When Intaller stucks, Myriad is still installing but Intaller just doesn't show that... Can't you wait 10 minutes?

No no Squiddy is correct.

 

If you see the installer go through loads of lines and then appears to get stuck on any random line like this:

 

Checking object virgo.dff... not found, object will be addedChecking object voodoo.txd... not found, object will be addedChecking object voodoo.dff... not found, object will be addedChecking object walton.txd... not found, object will be addedChecking object walton.df

 

After a minute or so press the close button on the BWInstaller. If you get a message that says quit with a yes and no you must say no.

 

If you press close and no quit message appears the installer has finished. I thought I cleared this in the readme. Ill add it to my first post thanks for the mirrors.

Myriad Paths v4.5

Decreased number of nodes for boat paths

Created two circles of boat paths around island

Fixed ped and car paths north of Odie's Skyline

Fixed ped and car paths on new Illcom Bridge

I could have put this in my pack if it would have been yesterday. Anyway nice work ill add it to the CDC or update it anyway.

but with some buildings/areas i get unhandled exception.

Did you follow the readme? All 5 steps or was it 6, there was a more specific way to install it then us the VC limit adjuster included. Did you do all these steps? Did you install teh ones which have the unstable tag next to them?

I did not install the unstable ones,

 

and the vice city limit adjuster seems to not work, i get this:

Make sure your using the original exe from what was installed from your disk. Ive seen this happen to others also before I dont remember the reason.

Well, there's only one way to find that out really - try them. They're not going to make your PC blow up!

 

I installed everything and I've had no crashes yet in about 2 hours play time. Not sure if I've spent much time in the 'unstable' areas though.

Great work, GT-1.

Easy to install. When I installed all lots with main package in one step the game crashed when loading. No I installed first the main package and then lot by lot. I didn't install all lots yet. But everything works fine and no crashes.

well after i had installed the last stable lot in that list (with the exception of the 'unstable' ones), everything appeared to run ok. I got into a bit of a gun fight with the police, and when the stars reached about 3 or 4 with quite alot of police shooting, the game crashed (on an empty lot - not one which had been installed). I had been able to travel around the game fine and do probably alot of things i wouldnt have been able to do before, but because this wasn't associated to a lot, i have no idea where the source of the problem for what i experienced could have came from

That was the only crash i have experienced since using this installer (installed lots one by one of course, but like i said it wasn't on a lot).

I too played for some good time with no crashes, except one. I'm not sure if others experience this but, whenever I quit the game it seems to crash just before it would close back to my desktop. Something easily dealt with by a series of blows to the enter key.

So, very good work and thank you for putting it together!

 

But, does anyone else have that issue?

 

Edit: I have had this issue with every single install of MI I have ever had too!
