i'm having serious game performance problems lately in myrad,

 

the game runs on new comp a lot faster, but sometimes it gets

unresponsive altrough it is still rendering the frames at 50fps it is not taking any more keyboard input, it delays keyboard and draws like 50 frames at once then it runs ok for few seconds and then AGAIN lags keyboard input..

 

i have tried turning the frame limiter on / off but i can't seem to find the solution for this one, so i am reporting it here, and with same settings (gta-vc.dat) original gta-vc runs

fine on 50 fps with no keyboard lag..

Have you tried the compressed textures by spaceeinstein they may help you out slightly. These could help the problem because some of the buildings use large un compressed textures.........

Hey everyone, I am working on a fairly large and difficult lot, Illcom_c3_r1.

And i was wondering if it would be ok to have a topic in which i would release the base for the dock and have comments on what people would like to see on the boardwalk, making this a true community project . I would then release add-ons for it such as rides , buildings resturaunts, etc. I would just like to se if it would be ok because i would not want a topic which would be locked soon

i would like to request a lot swap, i currently have illcom_c3_r1 and would prefer illsub_c1_r1, the main reasons being that c3 r1 is in the industrial area and illsub would suit my beachfront hotel a bit better as well as the fact the lot is bigger than the one i already have........here's hoping you say yes

The texture is yes, but the building is scratch made, the GTA3 building looks like this:

Although yes I did base that small section of my lot on that small part of staunton (the times square bit) I always made all my models by myself.

welp...this is dumpsite for crap, damaged crap that is no longer good, this item here has been smashed up to crap and is ready for the machine to pick it up and smash it!!! mwahahhaahaha!!

 

in other words, ingame teaser just a few minor bugs to fix, add some nice exhaust pipes and then get a proper wheel size/car cols/damage col file/handling and this bad boy shall be released you can thank STM for the amazing work on getting her ingame and doing a proper damage model THANKS STM YOUR THE BREAST!

I opened it with TXD Workshop, export all images, compress it, save it, and then used Vice TXD to replace every textures.

Hmm? All I had to do was open up TXD Workshop and click "Compress All"... If it terminated, I just had to restart and it worked.

 

But great job, nonetheless. I'd have never thought to do this, so I would have been stuck with a lagging Myriad Islands.
