Yes, English is not ODIE's 1st language. I'm currently teaching him ebonics so he can communicate with his American homies.

 

I've been mostly an observer in this topic, but I really like what I see. You guys are doing a great job.

Its the interior of my hotel im making. Why is it when i make my images .jpg, they turn out looking like sh*t?

NOPE, not at all, I'm trying to get EVERYBODY to find something you're doing that is wrong. AND you just made a fatal mistake. Your Myriad Island Public Transit got locked because you made a FAKE nonworking release that would crash any newbie's game. If I had the power, you would have got permanently banned for that stunt. Your ISP would have been contacted and you would have lost your internet account because of your internet terrorism.

my game crashes out at sea dunno why though it crashes when around the fisherman mission starting area

ye, but that's old. Old means it's not interresting anymore.

 

I'll let illspirit find his own time doing those water paths. He got to read this SOME time. And I almost forgot all about that park code.

 

edit: I updated it but forgot to update the readme, so... I will release another version shortly.

Exterior is done. I've even got a custom texture in front of the doors that says "Please have ID Cards ready", and "No Parking". Very nice, in my opinion.

 

But there are some in-game issues with lighting, so I may need to get Illspirit to fix that for me.

About interiour colors, look for

04F9: interiour_colors ...

in the original mission script. I have no idea what this command does. And ofcourse the 'Timecyc.dat' file.

ye, illspirit's been talking about making other islands.

 

If I where you, I would just look through all these pages and look the person with the most stars and lots requested and just build on some of his lots without mentioning it to anybody. The likelyhood of anything great happening on any of them any time soon is somewhat unlikely (if you ask me).

You see in my sig, shool its a long time ago and i was not the best in shool, so its hard to communicate in english, but ive learned some things here in the forum and in a few years, my son have to learn english, so i will try to learn from and with him. He knows (more then i did), thats important to speak english so you can communicate with many amyzing guys all around the world...

 

Barton: the Interieur color is for the ambiente from timecyc.dat, the select_interieur will only change the showed models, but its also a R* Fake, the model wont be shown, but the colldatas are still there and colldatas needs more performance then visible faces, so the interieurfunction makes not much fun. I guess it was good on PS2 and worked perfect, you remember flying into Diaz mansion? You cant do this in the PC version.

 

o, btw. Interieur No. 17 is used by my club.

m having trouble using this mod cause when i install it and go to play it i see the gta vice city screen then it goes back to the desktop.Can ne one tell me what is wrong.

Im having the same problem, and i rebuilt the archive... ive got a completely fresh version of vice city (well i had 1 custom weapon installed)

 

does it ned to be COMPLETELY fresh?
