Finally got round to installing this although the first time using the install script messed up my game. Anyway after manually installing them I think they look good and I see your point with the transparency. I have found no bugs yet but the black outer line around the fire station stands out alot almost looks like a road is supposed to be there. Also this doesnt have all the lots atm, but these can be put in I suppose.

 

So far so good Delfi, makes it alot better.

 

I added it to the download centre also.

Im on a slow connection and I was one of few that downloaded the station by Chibi, its not that much of a prob as long as its not much over 25MB anymore and its getting big especially with the main downloads also.

 

Someone should get Jock on there radio station should be a laugh with a good script, anyway I hope to hear some good radio stations.

Sorry Delfi ill go change it now, that lot is yours the map will not be updated until SR is back, there is no real point because there are very few lots going anywhere.

Ok ok, the legality of distributing music is just too touchy according to some, I can still however gather enough material for a good show with arguements, commercials, celebrities, and music, this time licensed or up for promotion.

By the way, I thought the idea was to have radio programs posted to the website and then myriad modders can just choose the ones they want. Any radio stations that infringe on laws can be removed from the server and the final release. capiche.

P.S. is Soundforge freeware, if not, it has been beaten by audacity on value already.

hmm ok well here are the poly counts..

 

chrome extras without wheels: 5217

 

chrome extras with wheels:6601

 

lawn services without wheels: 3613

 

lawn services with wheels: 4997

 

tool box extra without wheels: 3187

 

tool box with wheels: 4571

 

and the chrome extras is my favourite and its way to high poly well not that bad if I use the stock wheels then they won't be added to the poly count but still...217 polys over the limit...

No, I don't think so, and even if - I can build around it. Do you want to connect it to the sewer?

The weapons that law enforcement peoples use are hard-coded in the EXE. It would require a program to either modify the memory while the game is running, edit the exe or replace the MP5 witha pistol model and change the stats so its like a pistol.

Guys I think you've got your wires crossed as barton is referring to coding as in being able to buy clothes and stuff I think. Now correct me if I am wrong but rich has made no mention of wanting shopping coded into the main.scm. So guys I think you should re-read what's been said.

Erm, if Audacity is plausable to distribute as freeware, it just got melted by Soundforge and all other Steinberg gear before even the first round o_O

 

I'm sure it's good, it isn't any professional package I've ever made use of, Soundforge etc are... I'd rather not get dragged into an uhh measuring contest, Soundforge is a solid tool, Cubase SX and Wavelab in combination will allow you to do anything you are capable of. That's all in the plus column in my book.

 

The issue is not whether or not someone considers your radio station crap, it's whether they consider it theft

 

I personally have written over 30 tunes that I think would be good enough to at least fill up the space between the 'favourite' tracks. I can't use a single one of them, ever. Why? Because I don't like to limit myself, I like to sample. Bye bye any legal use of my music.

 

If you want 'fair'... ouch?

the fire station.. i decided that all asphalt aread would be black, so i made the thing

around black as roads.. may be changed later.

2nd extras version which is a landscaping theme with a lawn mower, some bags of cut grass and a 2 peice ramp for the lawn mower, frekeh is doin me up some logos for the truck and i'm working on other items for this theme such as rakes and other tools

Well at the moment you should replace the sandking and just use the bobcat's col on it. That's what I did and although it hates curbs it fits pretty well.
