Whenever you save a police vehicle at the docks, it is locked after it is repaired. Also, whenever I load a savegame from the docks, the car and ped paths are gone.

Hey all, how goes it?

 

Well, for those of you who remember the GTA: Liberty Madness mod, you'll remember it pretty much went down the drain. Most of the team dispanded and I was left with a near completed mod, but no means to complete, and little time or conern to. It was for GTA3 and alot of interest was lost. It was a hopeful mod, but sadly it went nowhere.

 

Well, I've got a near completed Mental instiution that I just realized could go into Myriad. I am not a modeler by trade, but I am proud of this one. It's nearly completed, just a few more things need to be added, and it needs to be put into the game. I have most of the interior done, the textures done, and the exterior needs a bit of work, along with a desk and some shelves in the interior. If anyone is interested in picking this up and finishing it for Myriad, it would be greatly appreciated. I think Myriad needs something like this. You'll need Sketchup by the way, but you can use the demo. Very simple if you know modeling in any way, shape, or form.

 

Here are some screens:

 

 

Interior

 

It's got 3 floors.

FLOOR 1: Lobby complete with ransacked desk, torn apart bars, and holding cells with doors ripped off.

FLOOR 2: Holding cells and a few other goodies

FLOOR 3: Holding cells with doors ripped off, a lab with autopsy tables and windows.

 

Some things like coffee cups, picture frames, turned over chairs, plants, maybe a patient or two, a dead doctor or two, scalpels and saws, a roof and a few walls need to be added (they don't NEED to be, but some things were modeled specifically for those to be included) Oh yeah, and a sign for out front. I'll do any texturing or skinning you want for this, but modeling and converting isn't anything I can do.

 

So there you have it, it's a ransacked Institution. The textures have alot of blood and alot o tasteless humor. If anyone wants to pick up the project, I'd be more than happy to send it your way. I just don't have the time or the concern these days to do this stuff. PM me and I'll get it to you.

is anyone having probs wit the moto shop. mine has no building and there is a big black hole in the land (its just a big empty space) any ideas oh yeah and the carshop link dont work 4 me

I have a problem, I got the game up and running fine, I get in game, and I play for a couple mins and then it crashes, any ideas on whats wrong? I think it might be the texture thing, but I'm really not sure.

 

 

PS: GREAT job on the mod guys, I love it, but I need this problem sorted out

If we are going to do radio stations these IMO are what they should be:

1)Rock/Metal

2)Rap/Hip-hop

3)Pop

4)Call-in show such as Chatterbox

5)Techno

6)News maybe

7)Country or classical or something

or something like that, that way most people will be happy, and if they arent tehre is always MP3 Player

Kinda curious what anyone else is thinking along these lines before I get too heavily into chasing any material... It seems kinda redundant to me to simply remake the same exact genres already offered by both GTA3 and VC, but I'm very much not a part of the MI thing (yet? who knows) so I'm not sure exactly how you do things around here yet, I'm not sure if I should be saying so is what I mean.

 

If people have esoteric tastes they need to let us know, so they can be accomodated

@Solo that happended to me too it doesn't mattert where you are but sometimes it crashes, try to put your streaming memry at 180, and it should run fine. With me sometimes crash but it is rare

Thats because you installed it wrong, maybe you didn't put all the dff's in the img, I installed myriad bikes and it works fine for me.

GForce made the problem with the hole in the ground. Related to the IPL file. He fixed the problem so download it again.

EDIT: 'Nother problem with me, this time from bartons installer, when it starts to install Chickenpluckers place, it goes fien for a little bit then it says:

 

"-- Scanning IDE file: C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\DATA\MAPS\CPBLOCK\CPBLOCK.IDE ... ERROR: Object ID 2620 already used"

 

And then the installation fails

Sadistic told me over MSN that you ppl had allready made the style of HUD so all i had to do is edit in my wepaon and tweak the alpha, i thought i had to totaly design them from scratch so thats why i was dragging my heels a bit. ah well..
