Maybe you can try adding some fungi effects around the water to give a more realistic effect.

Weeee, loads of lovely cars. Guess this means I won't be posting another render just yet as I haven't had time to do much to it since the last pic. Instead, I'll go somewhat off topic and posy a screeny from UT2k4:

Why? Well, it's a near finished version of the new ped Steve and I have been working on. Just so happens that it was easier to get into UT first. Specular level on the materials is way too high, but otherwise, this is what it should look like in VC.

 

Oh, and she even has Blood and Crip versions for Onslaught/TDM games in UT. tounge.gif

Dairy Midlands is a sweet name, what, with its backwardsness and all, but yea, might not fit the downtownish theme.

Zmodeler just deleted my Lincoln so I can't work on it any more. I searched my temporary files and couldnt find it.

Look into the Zmodeler folder in your program files and open autosave.z3d.

In MooMapper, select the offending piece of land, and set the rotation to 0 in all boxes.

 

That is all.

Something I've learnt my experiences with 3D Studio eating a large majority of my plaza scenes

 

DON'T JUST SAVE, SAVE MULTIPLE COPIES.

 

Everything is looking great so far guys, especially that pickup, Mista G.

Thanks StellHell, but I already found a suitable texture, I'm not using modified versions of the VC water texture anymore.

 

I just ran into a veeery odd problem. 2dfx lights won't show, when the object they are attached to is placed below 6 on z axis (what is the default water level). But I found out how to fix this, I simply moved the object's pivot up some units and also adjusted the IPL placement, so the object seems to be still in the same place but now with light. smile.gif

So luckily there are still lights in the sewer.

 

And I also had to adjust the water and took that chance to remove all those bugs with it (missing water squares on the beach), since I found a nice way to fit it perfectly to the island's shape. I won't release the updated waterpro.dat though, it will go into the beta package.

Odd I have one of my objects in my power plant at -60 and the 2dfx lights still show on it. I suppose it doesnt really matter, as long as its all good smile.gif

Look's alright, but maybe have one of those signs, that are like a stick in the ground, with the sign hanging from it.

Hmm, I tried everything, moving the object, moving the light, adding additional lights at other z values, but couldn't get it to work on that low z level.

Why do you have objects at -60??? Is there such a low basement?

I put it down that far because its 15 floors below ground and I dont want people to see it unless they are actually down there because it is out to sea
