A punk gang sounds cool. A football gang sounds cool as well. How about since the topic is based at gtaforums, why don't we include gangs from here?

Like: The Firm - football gang

Cfm, LFM, Amf, - mafia style familys

The preicent - cop type of gang.

Well, I would have thought the GTAForums gangs would have been an obvious choice. I would love to see them. I'm making the Diamond Club, that's right, the Genovese Family Front. So, I'll have to say the GTAForums mafia gangs would be the best. Genovese, Andolini, Leone and Corleone.

Although, we need some rival gang stuff. So, I don't know. But, I'm thinking the GTAForums gangs would be the best choice, and the most fun.

@ Star_Enterprise - Sheesh, calm down man, I'm what most might consider 'punk' too. The concept is based mainly on some of the punk gangs in NYC and San Fran- or, more specificly, the squatter punk gangs in the Bay Area which brought us such bands as Filth or, hell, even Rancid before they were big sellouts.

Filth? as in Cradle? ghehe maybe we should add some goth/punky gang

That'd be my favourite gang since i am sort of goth

Alternatively I think that Snow Racer's billboard looks better imo anyway.

Heeey, I've been waiting for a thread like this!   Since we have all these mafia and corporate gangs, how about we get down n dirty, and have a caribbean themed gang? Me being from the caribbean, I know what it's like to be poor, and what it's like to live amongst little gangs etc. I could think of lots of locales, secret places and what this area will look like overall.

although I lived in New York, Brooklyn for a large part of my small life. Don't make people shout racism in missions or anything. I had probelms with racism. It creates wars if ya tell someone., I know you won't but I thoght I would say.

@ anyone who cares- Sent an e-mail off to R* asking if they'd mind us using Zaibatsu. They might not care, but then, after the SanAndreas/SanAngelas thing, it's probably best to ask. Doubt they'll answer until next week, if at all. If all else fails, maybe we could call the corporate gang Enclon as a spoof of Enron and ImClone...

 

@ DcD- Yea, a Caribbean gang of some sort would be nice. We just have to be careful that we name them in a generic manner so as not to piss off a whole country and have them sue us.

 

@ gta3freak_2001 - Well, I'd imagine the punk gang would also be on ground level at times. How else would they go about randomly fighting with other gangs?

And if we did, we'd end up with 3 mafias. If not, who do we pick? And what would The Scorpions be exactly? And, as with Zaibatsu, it might be legally tricky using $$H and LM in a mod. And how many official gang members besides the ones in this topic (and Opius) ever even participate in modding to begin with?

Very good point because most Mafia Families are allies with other families and do meet up sometimes so a merging of gangs could work if done properly. A building could be made for each gang like Sex Club 7, The Diamond Club etc.

Iam willing to help although this is in the wrong place. The Myriad Islands project consists of many lots which are created by members or teams around the GTAForums. These lots are released either in BETA stage or FINAL relases. This is a work in progress projet and will take alot of hard work from everyone to get finished. The topic you have posted in now is the Mission Script, this provides some missions with Myriad Islands.

 

Here is a link to where you can download some if not all of the lots made for Myriad so far, you may have to look through some topics to find other releases.

Sounds similar to me, lol. I suggest a gang like this too, then it could look like I was walking round the streets with TRN, jope they let you use the Zaibatsu but will you get a reply. It will be intesting.

 

I was watching a film called Cop Land last night with a set of bent cops in it, who were part of a mafia or something like that. That may be an idea for a gang or mission.

I give you some news of my project. I had to remake my Fire Station because it was too small. For the moment, it comprises a gymnasium, 2 cloakrooms, a reserve and bedrooms. It still misses the offices, the canteen, the heliport and the carpark.
