GTA3Freak-2001 22
Is it a certain event ingame that makes the exception occur or is it random? Anyway have you tried reinstalling the game? If not try that.
tman 0
i had the same problem when using a crappy onboard graphics card (intel 82810e) what are your system specs?
Wolf68k 10
This is why you should have read this first
Johnnyboy 5
I get the same errror but only when I'm getting the money from the money icon at the Vercetti Estate. I re-installed it a hundred times but it didn't work a damn. I think there actually is no solution for that kind of error Master Headhunter. I see many people post about that error and ends with no results. I really want to know when that error will be fixed. Just try to avoid the thing in the game that let that error occur. PS: Sorry, off-topic but what OS do you have Master Headhunter? It looks really weird that Task-bar and so on...
GTA3Freak-2001 22
PS: Sorry, off-topic but what OS do you have Master Headhunter? It looks really weird that Task-bar and so on... I would say its XP with a different theme to it. If nothing else fixs this problem, I would suggest you do a reformat. Backup everything you want to keep and boot from your HP Recovery Disc(I assume your PC is a HP from the HP Center taskbar at the top) and choose the option to put your PC back to how it was when you bought it. I had a similar problem with my HP I used to have where GTA3 would give an error like yours and doing what I mentioned above fixed the problem.

Wolf68k 10
Did you install any mods or do anything to change VC from it's original installed version at all? I think reformatting is a bit excessive. At might also be a video drivers issue.
GTA3Freak-2001 22
I think reformatting is a bit excessive. I meant if all else fails to fix the problem, then a reformat may help.
