Stretchnutter 2
Vice City Analogic Mapper - Controller Version v1.0 - Released Today Here is my first public release of my Vice City analog controller fix. What this program allows you to do is overwrite (disable) the non-changeable factory analog presets in Vice City and re-map them to your own positions. Also, that's not all. If you've ever tried playing VC with a descent wheel you noticed that the dead-zone is very large. This tool will allow you to control the cars driving wheels' turning angle directly without any dead-zone at all; Leading to very precise maneuvers. I usually test anything I release several times, and I must say I could not play VC with a wheel without this tool (along with VCFFE). So if you own a wheel and you're sick of not being able to use it with this game, this is a must-download. Wait, there's more! Another problem I had with my wheel was that when I was on-foot sometimes my character would start walking on his own (especially when I have the Gas and Brake pedals on a separate axis). This tool will allow you to fix that problem. Speaking of Gas/Brake. This tool will also allow you to properly map the Gas/Brake pedals to the vehicles Throttle/Brake pedal (true analog, not a digital re-map to the keyboard)!! For the rest of you who do not own a wheel/analog controller, don't be so sad. I am currently finishing up the Mouse version which even allows you to map a function to the Scroll Wheel such as Leaning or Gas/Brake with analog precision. This is the most anticipated version of this tool because not many people can afford such pricey devices such as force feedback steering wheels, and you could not use a computer too comfortably without one. Expect an update on the Mouse/Keyboard version very soon. Link: http://tocaedit.grandprixoz.net

Jerlandy 0
Dude! You're the best. I love ya in a non-sexual way. God knows how many times I've complained about having to use the B and C buttons on my Microsoft Precision Racewheel for gas/brake. No matter how many times I tried the thing wouldn't let me reset it so the pedals would work, now you made a mod that will allow me to use the pedals? THANK YOU!!!!! You're the best. Stretchnutter 2
Its still like a test version (v1.0) i already have had a bug report and an extra axis is missing (doh) BUT, it still will work if you Device uses RZ as brake and Y as throttle when split-axis is enabled (some other wheels use other axis ) mainly microsoft and logitech wheels should work (I have a microsoft wheel and had a logitech wheel) also i released the mouse version today...... http://tocaedit.grandprixoz.net

Hell, if I had a wheel, I'd love you in a sexual way. Great work on this, sounds like something really useful. I can remember I was going to buy a wheel for GTA3, only to find out about all these limitations. Now, I'm on the lookout for a cheap one.

MarD 0
Heyyo, Heh, I'mma get this n' hope it works great for gamepads also, cause it sucks using my gamepad configurator to make my x-axis think left is A and right is D... it leads to steering that could've been better... so my hopes go out to your project man.
