mediaplaya 0
Hmm.. i have a similar soundcard.. it happens to me 2.. but I acually like the echo cuz its a very small one. I guess the best option is to update drivers perhaps? Ehh.. -media

ZaqT 0
I have fixed this... kinda. First I also re-installed the drivers but this is a bit too time consuming so I found another way. If you have a Creative card you probably have something called "Creative AudioHQ" in you Creative folder. Open that program and then start the "speaker" program and push the "Test" button. A womans voice goes something like "Left speaker... right speaker" After this test, the echo should be gone. At least it did for me. Edited August 1, 2003 by ZaqT
Diablo SV 0
Go to your Control Panel, click Audio HQ, then Enviromental Audio, and make sure to turn off any effects that are on.
Superfly. 0
In Vice, in the audio options, make sure the 'Dynamic Acoustic Modeling' is turned off. If it's on, give it a reboot, and your problem should be solved.
