If you haven't already noticed (or been living under a rock), our content-based sites are in desperate need of updates. We are planning on redeveloping our network, and changing the whole structure to a more automated one to avoid another die-down such as the one we have had lately. More specifically we are looking for: 2x Content updaters. - Needs to know how to collect news, have sources of information, and posess a good knowledge of the english language to be able to write news stories. - Basic, working knowledge of HTML. (Images, links, lists, tables) - Previous work or experience is a bonus. 1x Technical scripter. - Needs to be knowledgible in PHP and databases (mySQL) and be able to write new scripts based on our needs. - Previous work or experience is a bonus. If you choose to apply, you will have the experience of working with an accomodating team of individuals on the GTA network. You will gain experience in running a website and working together with a team. After a short test-time, you will be given your own email address, and will have unrestricted access to your work area in order to be able to perform best at your task. For those seriously interested in one of these positions, please PM me. Include the position you are applying for, why you want to help out, and previous experience (if applicable). Recruitment will be closing on the 6th of August, so all your applications will need to be in by then. EDIT: Looking at my calendar, it seems it would be wiser to shorten the application hand-in time. Therefore we are closing the recruiting on the 2nd of August. That gives you lot about 5 days to still submit your applications, and will give us more time to sort through the applications and decide the people who are going to proceed. There is no setting for unlimited storage in the ACP. So unless you guys installed a hack for that, I'm guessing you just set the limit to a huge number. Just wondering, but what exactly is that number??? PS. My mouse broke, so I hadta use the keyboard to do this entire thing. The first time when I hit tab, I skipped over the text box so I hadta scroll through ALL the sidebar options, the post options, the emoticons, and every other clickable thing on the page. Worst thing is, its a mouse going through the com port. The only kind that'll work on this PC. And the only other mice I have, are ps/2's and a USB. If im thinking of the same forums that your talking about, then your wrong, its just set to a stupidly high amount of space. Im also wouldn't put too much money on you being a admin for too long. Sure looking around the forums is a way to do it, however not everyone on the forums is interested in spending 2+ hours every day working on a website, don't you agree? A person needs to have will of his own, instead of us jumping onto him saying he must help us on our site. And don't think our recruitments will only be based on the applications. We're going to look at the forum activities of the people who apply as well. Think about what you're saying, you too Rotten. Have had problems with you before.. Because, imagine I'm in an official gang member (oh wait...I am ), if my membergroup is changed, I wouldn't be able to see my official gang's private forum, would I? Or can you edit each member's forum permission? Last time I checked, you can't do that with an Invision Board.
