They guy wrestles HHH in one Main event and now he is #1 face??Not Likely.

 

He's great, alot of potential...but this is mearly something to build off of....he has a f*cking hell of alot of good matches to put before everyone is behind him....they could hate him in another city...its just too early to tell.

 

I mean if anyone knows top heels, like Jericho(when hes heel) and HHH, they job to people all the time....people never give HHH enough credit for putting people over in matches that shouldnt over the years..

I like him, lets see if they do the right thing...but dont be surprised if HHH oblitorates him next Raw....hey, give and take

Triple H will probobly get dumped from Evolutoin soon, after he loses the title match at Backlash. He will most likely jump Benjamin next week, Benoit will help him and a tag match will be made. Benoit and Shelton vs Triple H and Flair.

I hate how predicatable the 'filler Tag matches' always seem to be...not to say it might not happen, but youve got it down as well as all...its like..

 

"ALRIGHT!, two guys fight, one upsets the other in one way or another, next week other guy gets mad and attacks, but loyal friend helps out......TAAAAAAAAGGG MATCH!!"

 

meh, tag matches, way back in the day, used to be really huge monumental things...nowadays people would pretty much almost rather see a singles match unless the tag match is between 4 crazy people.

Yea, Im sick of tag matches. I like Single matches more to this day, I just find most tag matches boring. Anyways, Im predicting that Orton will still beat Foley at Backlash, keep the Intercontenental Championship, and then lose it the next night to Shelton Benjamin, most likely at Foley's fault. But Orton will win at Backlash. I just cant see Foley being IC Champion...its just wrong. Especially since he's WAY passed his prime.

With the lottery, they devastated the tag ranks even more. WGTT got split up (though big push for Benjamin), so did La Resistance. The only real teams left are the Dudleyz, who everybody is tired of, and the Bashams, who, while improved, are still not championship material. And without their S&M costumes, they just look like generic jobbers.

 

Though last night's title match was excellent, overall a great match, but a horrible, horrible ending. At least have Evo go over clean, maybe stir dissention between Benoit and Michaels. Maybe have them play mind games saying Flair will be in the corner of the highest bidder at Backlash, only to have him double cross both for HHH (see Summerslam 92, Flair and Perfect did this with Savage and Warrior, and it played out beautifully).

Foley is like Hogan...the pace at which he does he routine is not a factor.

yeah it was more of a neutral push anyway, to make him look 'tougher' to beat....although in a wrestling match he should never be allowed to be put over someone like Lance.

Supposedly, Heyman is going to manage someone...i forget who, before he starts this ECW style brand. I cant wait to see if its true, it'd be quite interesting though. More people would have a purpose in wrestling, most of them from ECW.

I never got to see much of ECW. Well, not too much of Tazz at least. By the time that I got a chance to view it, Justin Credible had won the championship from Tommy Dreamer in that brutal Ladder Match. Then he lost it to Rhyno a few weeks before ECW collapsed.

But anyway, as Tazz was known to be heading up to WWF soon, he had to drop his title that he had been dominating week in week out...people were diggin it too...he defended against everyone, including an AWESOME match with Bubba Ray back when he was really cool...but my fav was the 3-way feud between Tazz/Mike Awesome/Masato Tanaka....which was short but just led to a good feud between the other two...ecw was great.

OMG menace, I went back to the IGN boards. You should see how many Triple H haters there are. I mentioned that Triple H is an amazing heel and he's doing an amazing job as one and that he's a great wrestler.

 

 

This guy then says that Triple H is controling the WWE and that he is a crappy wrestler and Shelton carried him through the whole match and that people hate him because he's had the title for 2 years and he's got his nose up McMahon's ass. They said he couldnt carry anyone through a match.

The next time someone says anything about HHH, just bring this up: his company loyalty.

 

In the mid 90's, WWF was in a creative funk to say the least. Attendance and ratings were in the crapper, and it began to show in the pocketbook. WCW raided their stables with ease, taking everyone from Hogan to Heenan. This was the time the Kliq-Michaels, Hall, Nash, and HHH (and to a lesser extent Waltman) influenced the very direction of the product, and the WWF's meal tickets were contingent upon these men. Of course, Hall and Nash jumped ship. HHH could have easily switched over as well, where he would have received more money and better storylines. But he stayed on, payed his dues, and worked his way up the ladder, and eventually got what he deserved.

 

As for Rhyno, the guy's not great, but he's not terrible either, and was very underused on Smackdown. For some reason Vince seems to have it in for him, as when Rhyno was wrestling at a house show, he came out halfway through the match and stopped it, saying he was bored and Rhy was wasting the fans' time. That is definitely not fair. Judging by his ECW accomplishments, the guy can definitely wrestle. Does he deserve to main event in top feuds with Benoit and HHH? No. But he should get some time on TV, and if allowed to develop a unique character, should provide some good solid midcard action.

I went over to IGN aswell, they're brainwashed by wrestlers' characters and appearance. 'Taker doesn't sell, so therefore he is the toughest for example. Hell, even my 9 year old brother has grasped the concept of talent. Says things that I'm about to say.
