I like having 2 champions. As we get a more variety of champions and not just having one belt with one champion at a time. I like it the way it is, moving around everyone will just make it that much better.

Im half and half on this one..

 

With one belt, like leper said, it would mean alot more, thats for sure....but it was somewhat odd when it was happening, having one guy that has to travel twice as much as everbody, it would totally f*ck up thier current schedual, but then again so does this whole draft ...id like to see them do something to the World title picture to give it some more meaning, maybe not this.

 

With two belts, since there are alot of main event talents, two belts do still have more than enough meaning, but sometimes it depends on whom has each....right now is kewl cuz of the two identical people that hold them.

 

You can always say that the WCW belt will never have quite as much meaning, which is semi true, but not really because they have long sinced banished the WCW name....f*ck you David Arquette.

He's sitting at home with his family writing a column every few weeks to his fans in the calgary sun. Hes just a family man right now as his wrestling career is over. Most likely hes training Blade in the dungeon....that would be swell.

And yes, Blade, no matter how stupid his name is, is gonna be fully trained by the best of all time, so he is definatly gonna be something to look out for when his time comes..

Also, he owns (or at least he did) a hockey team, the Calgary Hitmen. The World Hockey Association is coming back, maybe he'll go in on a team there, though it wouldn't be smart to go head-to-head with the Flames, the Hitmen were at least seen as minor league. Seeing as how popular he is, I've heard people say they'd like to see him in politics. I don't know about Prime Minister, but mayor of Calgary, or governor (or Canadian equivalent) of Alberta seems doable.

Brock Lesnar Explains Why He Left WWE; His Future, more

Brock Lesnar is introduced as the “Next Big Thing in the NFL”. Mike Morris asked about jumping to the NFL and to tell people why he decided to do so. Lesnar said growing up in Minnesota it was something he always wanted to do. He said he had a wonderful three years in WWE and was always kept happy but recently grew unhappy. Went on to say that he always wanted to play football, got college offers going out of high school, right now he wants to try and make it in the NFL.

 

He said he’s 6-foot 4-inches tall and 289-punds, people ask “why walk away from Vince McMahon, making all that money?” He said it’s just about being happy. He is 26-years-old now and doesn’t want be 40-years old and wondering if he could have made in football. “I’m not saying I may never go back there someday,” said Lesnar. But, right now he wants to try out for one team, 100 percent. Being from Minnesota he hopes to try out with the Vikings. Who knows what will happen, he says, if he can’t try out there, then somewhere else. He’s already an accomplished amateur wrestler and sports entertainer.

 

Mike Morris asked if he notified Vince about being so unhappy. He said yes, he told him he was going to leave about two weeks before WrestleMania and told him about being so unhappy about six months before that. He was just flat out tired with all the traveling. He said not everyone understands the traveling schedule for wrestlers.

 

One thing he did enjoy was meeting all the people, the good money and entertaining the fans in the ring. He bought an airplane for himself but said that was just an escape coat for him and it didn’t work.

 

Morris asked about the NFL work, not as much of a bad traveling schedule but has a gruesome 7am to 7pm daily schedule. Brock said he’s always been an athletic guy, used to workouts and isn’t a push over. He’s just asking for the opportunity to try. This is something he wants to do for himself. So when he is 40 or 50-years old he can say he had the balls to walk away from a multi-million dollar contract and try this out.

 

Kelly asked about being tested, she wanted to know if there was any worrying about passing a chemical test with the steroid problem in wrestling, “is that a concern?” Brock said that’s not going to hinder him one bit, he has been taking drug tests since High School. “I'm just a white boy from South Dakota blessed by God to be as big as I am,” he said. “Drug tests aren’t the issue, the only issue is to see if I can be a football player.” He went on to say that this has been his dream since being a kid. Wrestling was always a secondary sport and even though he was better at football and did better there, he only excelled in wrestling.

 

He was asked about what position he wanted to play. He said he was open for anything. His next step is to take a couple days off to spend some time with his daughter, then fly down to tryouts with his agent “Big” John Wolf. He might be away from home still but he will sacrifice that for this opportunity. He said he wants to play on defense for sure, but he can do anything, he isn’t too slow and isn’t weak, so he’ll see what happens.

 

He was asked if he was a decorated player in High School. He said he made all state, but was injured in his senior year and couldn’t play at the beginning, but was moved to being a Fullback later that year.

 

A caller asked if he would consider going to the Canadian Football League or playing in Europe before going on into the NFL. He said that he highly doubts that, he will try to excel here in the U.S. Morris said that pretty much anyone and everyone is tested. It doesn’t matter if you’re from college or WWE.

 

Brock then talked about having the experience. He said there are a lot of guys, especially wrestlers, who go into the NFL without professional experience. He mentioned Stephen Neal from the New England Patriots and how he did that exact thing. Mike mentioned some other names that did the same thing, from being NCAA wrestlers to being NFL players. Brock said he just doesn’t want to be unhappy anymore, he knows a lot of people in wrestling who are so unhappy.

 

Kelly asked if he would consider going back to wrestling. Brock said he has been disappointed there, “I’m walking away from the wrestling business for now,” he said.

 

One of the other guys from the show pointed out how he isn’t the same Brock from last year, he appears to be more down, rather than that excited, up-beat Brock Lesnar. Brock said he has enjoyed his time working for Vince McMahon and WWE but right now its time to see if he can do something for himself.

 

Mike Morris thanks him for calling in for the interview and everyone says good bye. End of interview. Morris went on to say, “Here’s a guy walking away from a 7 or 9 million dollar contract, but what a guy to walk away to play football.”

Thats not necessarily true, there are quite a few offensive and defensive positions that can be taught to someone strong enough and willing to learn.

 

Hes said he doesnt care where and what position, he just wants this as a challenge so he doesnt regret it when hes older...which is perfect because i think he will be back before we know it...if the football goes good or bad

 

but anyway, someone like him would be a really quick learner, if he tries like he is going to, there will be plenty of teams willing to give him a few shots.

Anyway with The Wrestling Channel up and all, I just saw TNA:Xplosion at 10 Today.

 

My TNA Experiance

 

Wow, it was amazing.

It was a shame that even though the Titan Tron and stage were cool and all, there were no big screens, only little ones that only had the TNA logo on, nothing special and when Wrestler's came out, there was no Video.

 

There were women in cages and such dancing everywhere, the camera's were more on them than the action. They were very hot.

When D'Lo had his match, guess who came out and attacked him? That's right Jamal, going by the name of Ekmo, weird eh?

 

It was really good to see, they had somehting called an 'X Division' which was light weights, they did amazing things, once doing a move, they would chnage their mind and do another, they way they risked their bodies was just wow. One guy even did a Front 1080', Outstanding!

Yeah, Its really cool! I saw some TNA and a bit of weird but cool Mexican Wrestling when I was having lunch and such!

Its really is a brilliant new channel and investment for the company. Alot of Hardcore wrestling fan will be pleased, and I think its one of the best sky channels.

Yea, this wrestling channel sounds great, its too bad that I dont catch it as Im living over here in Canada. UK only station. But you guys deserve it if you need to stay up till 1 am to watch a ppv.

heh, its better than nothing though. Its one privlage that you guys get that we dont, which is a rare thing obviously. I try to watch TNA but I've only watched like 1 or 2 events. As they are on Wednesdays and I dont have a satelite dish during the weekdays.

Sorry about the intentional double post but I think its a great time to say that Im going to be fully commited to the UWT season now. We need to make some changes. With a new millenium of replies in this topic, Im going to announce that Im making a whole new topic for the UWT E-Fed. Its going to have to be in gaming chat of course as it has to do with HCTP. But the problem with that is, more people will want to join as it has its own topic. Im sorry to say that we will have to restart it. I hope its not too much of a bother for you guys. But you guys will obviously get the first picks in this draft. For now, you only have to draft once. Just one guy, so it will be a lot easier to control and the draft wont take long.

 

I am keeping the season stats that you already have build on your wrestler. So dont worry about that. But something else just sprang on me, everyone must now pick one of the three characters they want to keep for the season. Thats what im going to do. Im keeping the current champions and feuds that we have been developing already. So now im asking EVERYONE to please reply with the wrestler they want to keep out of the ones that you have already chosen. I will give you until Saturday to choose and if you havent picked until then....well, your going to take part in the draft like all of the new people in the UWT season. This is all to make everything a hell of a lot more organized. Im thinking of having tables in a chart to show the superstar points and current experience that each superstar has. This will make it a lot easier for you aswell. So im asking anyone who can make tables well, please PM me as you will be a big help in the development of the UWT Season.

NWATNA isnt that great....a few good spotfests, and the average good wrestler....the only people they have that really excel at most things are AJ Styles, Raven, and Jarret...everyone else is hella boring...and the x-division is okay...it was better when lo-ki and Aj were fighting for the belt with Jerry Lynn.
