As his hair grows longer, his old school attire what we all wanted best come back too!

 

 

The goldberg lesnar match was terrible, a waste of f*cking time. Jeez.

It sucked. I had a feeling it would. They overhyped it and it just didnt live up to what they said it would be. It feels like Wrestlemania XIV, so much hype, such a crap show.

 

 

 

The Trish thing is great. She's a slut now, and the Christain and Jericho feud is only going to get bigger.

 

I was surprised as hell when Benoit won, I knew he would when he locked in the crossface but thats just awesome. That was the match of the night, for sure. Triple H looked kickass too. But it was the best match of the night, finally the main event is actually the main event.

 

Kurt Angle against Eddie Guerrero was awesome. Tons of reversals and that Angle Slam into a tornado DDT was amazing. But it ended great, with Eddie telling Angle he'd cheat on Sunday if he had to, and he did it to win.

 

I really liked having Benoit and Guerrero at the end with the belts. The only remaining radicals, and they end it great.

 

I was surprised when it showed Shane's baby, Vince's Grandson on the starting video. Which totally kicked ass, that was an amazing intro.

 

The arena looked fantastic, everyone was ready, the storylines were great. But it seemed like it was wrestler's fault that it wasnt as good.

 

 

 

Did you see Austin's face though, when everyone started chanting you sold out. Wow, even JR told the rumor so everyone knew why. Biggest thing on XX was that few moments before the tie up. I was getting shivers up my spine because everyone knew. The match sucked too, horrible. Really boring too, the fans agreed. They chanted Goldberg Sucks, and they chanted Lesnar sucks. It was insane, a moment I wont forget for a while.

 

So overall, XX pretty much sucked ass.

 

 

Not causing trouble my friend but you say it sucked big time but then say these matches were awesome? I took out Taker and the lesner fight, but the rest was awesome?

A word on Taker...

 

Maybe its not as bad as i think.

 

1) He did not use any bad ass taunts.

 

2) His movements (apart from punches) were old school

 

3) He was buried as the badass right? He will look different on Smackdown i think.

 

4) Undertaker's character was originally based on old western Undertakers ( The hat and coat )

 

Conclusion, he will become the deadman we know in time in my opinion. What my opinion is ( the fictional story behind it), he rose from the 'dead' in his biker sh*t, persued kane, but keeping close to his origin he slapped on a hat and coat.

 

PS: The cruiserweight open was another huge dissapointment.

The old school undertaker has been overdone and im glad they got this new look. Its a play on he died as the bad ass and now he comes back as the dead man. Its almost a mix. You shouldnt be so critical sometimes guys....i come in here after watching a PPV and im so excited it was so great and you guys will be bummin out because someone screwed up a move. My feelings exactly, but i couldnt think of your wording. I really enjoyed the Lesner match because of the crowd, and Stone Cold made it better. The rest was pure entertainment!!

John Cena V.S. Big Show-Cena..........This match started off the night...it was an ok match..Cena put the big show on his shoulders twice for the F U.....

 

Tag Team Titles For Raw- In The Four Way Booker T and Rob Van Dam retained their titles.......Average match.....could of been on tv

 

Chris Jericho V.S. Christian- Christian (after Trish came down and screwed Jericho and left with Christian).....This match wasent that bad......Trish's whole demeanor changed when she turned on Jericho...her body language and facial reactions all changed with her new bitch character

 

Tag Team Championships for Smackdown- Rikishi and Scotty To Hot retain titles......I hate this old skool hip hop gimmick tag team.....yah they danced after the match..Rikishi did the king tut as always...crap.

 

Evolution V.S. Mankind an Rock- Evolution........this match was cool...i was shocked to see Rock & Sock lose though....but once I thought about it,it all makes sense..The Rock and mick Foley are not working full time wrestling schedules and Evolution is....so it makes sense that Evolution won.

 

Goldberg V.S. Lesner- Goldberg(Of course).......Now this match was pure crap.....Goldberg's contract expired yesterday..he had a short one....Austin is tryin to talk berg into stayin but that remains to be seen.Brock told everyone a week before mania that he was leaving to pursue football,so all the fans booed Brock.....they all sung the goodbye song to him and then they all chanted "You sold out".......so all the fans knew both men were leaving so they gave a f*ck about those 2.It was a slow match with no pops.

 

Undertaker V.S. Kain- Undertaker(When he came out with Paul Bearer it was tight)The hooded druids with the flame stix came out after Kane and then the Taker....his hair is growing,he had a different expression on his face..a lil meaner than the badass look...but he was in all black and didnt look much different then his last character.

 

Eddie Gurrero V.S. Kurt Angle-Guerrero....This was a great match......both stars are tight.

 

Evening Gown Match- Tori and Sable....crap..no titties or ass.....some good roll around the ring pins and thats it...

 

Molly Holly V.S. Victoria-Victoria(Molly got her head shaved)....crap..

 

Cruiserweight Open-I think Chavo retained his belt (I went to get beer during that match)this match was a clusterf*ck....to much sh*t poppin off..but if you caught something it was good.

 

Triple HHH V.S. Shawn Michels V.S. Chris Benoit- Chris Benoit (Good Match)Shawn was bloody as f*ck....HHH got a lil bloody....the best part was at the end when Benoit won..eddie came out and they both hugged and cried.....who would of ever thought that benoit and eddie would have the top belts in the WWE....f*ck..it was a great night....

He'll be on the power trip morning show. Do you guys think he does steroids? Because i know that when he wrestled in the NCAA he was almost as big as he is now so i think it's fairly believable that he doesn't do them.

He doesnt do steroids, he just lifts weights like crazy. Didnt you see him in SLAM magazine on Confidential? Huge. He's just a gym freak. Not even Goldberg uses steroids, I think only Steiner uses them.

 

I cant believe that Lesnar is actually going into the NFL. This has to be the craziest thing ever. I gotta go read some commentaries to see what other wrestlers and annoucers think about it.

 

PG, I was just so bummed out about Taker's appearence. He did wrestle the same and everything, but I just hated his look. I hope it gets better by Smackdown. But I just wasnt appealed to many of the matches. I dont know why, but Mania didnt do it for me.

Like Kev said, besides 4 matchs at most....to me only really 3, it was totally dissapointing for way too many reasons..

 

Ill live off of the 3 good matches though.

 

BTW they were all over Goldberg in that match too...i find it way too convenient for him the amount of bragging rights he gets, even when he is at his worst they make huge stars job to him...boo.

 

Im not changing my opinion...i just dont find that two good title matches can carry the most hyped Mania of all time.

 

 

 

 

Lesnar doesnt do steriods, thats another credit to how crazy he is....f*ck...ah well, he will be back.

Cena - Big Show - Good. Just.. good. Started off the show well with Cena, and a well deserved face win. Got the crowd worked up. Nicely done.

 

World Tag Titles - It was ok. A little dull in places. Could have done with the titles changing hands, but meh. Better than the WWE Tag Title match.

 

Christian - Jericho - I'd say this lived up to it's long build-up. Two good workers, athletic match. Good ending too. Sort of saw it coming, but good nevertheless. Props to both guys for falling off the top turnbuckle.

 

Evolution - Rock 'n' Sock - Good match, a lot of talent. A lot of charisma on both sides. Pretty nice match. Despite Evolution winning being the wise thing to do, I still wanted Foley to win. Rock cut a good promo too, he was real fired up.

 

Torrie & Sable - Stacy & Jackie - Crap. F*cking pointless. No ass, no tits. Lose.

 

Cruiserweight Open - I don't think it was as bad as people made it out to be. COuld have been longer, but the action was pretty good. Ultimo Dragon wins my 'Person I'd least want to be right now' award.

 

Goldberg - Lesnar - Jesus. If Austin hadn't been the ref, this would be the worst thing ever to grace a WM card. No, scrap that. It was. Lesnar's genuine anger was the highlight. Hah.

 

Victoria - Molly - I wasn't watching. Funny to see her bald though. Sort of.

 

Eddie - Angle - Woo f*cking hoo. A good match. Very nice wrestling, as expected. These two are amazing. Nice finish too, original.

 

Undertaker - Kane - Good because it was 'Taker. I'm taking it the reason his attire was so disappointing is because it was supposedly what he was buried in. Bring back the vintage 'Taker. Nice looking Tombstone too. Although, now I have to endure Paul Bearer's voice all over again. His voice box must be the size of a f*cking peanut.

 

Triple Threat - Congrats to all of them for pretty much saving the card. Lots of good spots, I was too tired to really get behind Benoit though. If I was awake enough, I would have. Very nice aftermath too. Sounds weird, but when I see them show such emotion.. it's a weird feeling. Makes me feel proud to be a part of it all. Eddie and Benoit; the two guys we've wanted to see get recognition for months on end.. years even. Then, on the grandest stage of them all, they stand as the two World champions. Yay.

 

 

Oh, and I'm pretty sure the WWE tag titles were defended somewhere.

I wouldnt say that at all, if niether of them were leaving, and they wrestled the exact same match, people probably still would have had a great time....also amazing to see the heat generated by the both of them, its still, to me, an all-time wrestlemania moment.

 

Still a dull match, but not the worst in the slightest...and who knows, Lesnar was probably having a great time, he was a heel ya know, after he walked backstage, we have no clue what happend, people could have been shaking his hand, and giving him his 'farewell for now' as far as we know.

 

Another thing to look forward to is to see if Oldberg shows up on Raw....i hope not, but i could really give a sh*t.....it may very well give me a new reason to like Steve Austin.

 

(not saying it is at all) But wouldnt it be funny if this Lesnar thing was still a hoax??....they will have fooled everyone, with taking his name off of the site and everything....99% sure it wont happen, but man it would be a work for the ages.

It was the same type of match that Hogan and the Rock wrestled, but cut to Goldberg length....about 1/6th.....its a match that was SUPPOSED to be mainly driven by the crowd....which it was i guess....unfortunatly it was for all the wrong reasons

I gotta break this down to each match and explain why i thought they were good. I stole Matt's list btw.

 

Cena - Big Show - Great match. Its still amazing to see John Cena throw big show on his shoulder like that. Then twice? forget about it. The ending trasition was pulled off nice...pretty funny too. Its great to see Cena walk out with the belt. You could see some true emotion on his face too at the end.

 

World Tag Titles - Nothing really spectacular but still a great match. Fast paced action and some real nice moves pulled off.

 

Christian - Jericho - Been waiting for this one for awhile and it was awesome. To see these two battle it out was great. 2 great wrestlers just putting on a clinic. The cherry on the ice cream was Trish. What a twist of events. She'll be a great heel.

 

Evolution - Rock 'n' Sock - Alot of great wrestlers in the ring at once. No real spectacular moves but it was very entertaining watching Rock and Flair make fun of each other. lol

 

Torrie & Sable - Stacy & Jackie - They were in panties...nuff said.

 

Cruiserweight Open - AWESOME MATCH. Its good too see some cruiserweights being put into the lime light. I think Mysterio stole the show though. He was amazing. He was on that night. Great performance.

 

Goldberg - Lesnar - Wrestling....horrible. Fans + stone cold at the end = f*cking awesome. I loved it.

 

Victoria - Molly - Im glad Victoria won. I like her alot. Shes a good womens champ and i hope it stays that way for awhile. Good match all and all.

 

Eddie - Angle - Its a given these two will put on a show...and they did last night. Not much more to be said but another great match....and good to see Eddie defending his title.

 

Undertaker - Kane - I was geekin out when the undertaker came. That was tight. The match was alright.....all and all i was geeked about the return. Definite plus.

 

Triple Threat - Match of the night BY FAR. WOW. Props to all three. They were all just flowing together well and damn...i cant say enough about this match. The Blood the tables the super kicks the crossfaces the sharpshooters aw man AWESOME!

I got the ric flair collection. Its pretty cool. Alot of real old classic matches. Quite the collection. The never seen before post raw celebration was pretty neat. Youll enjoy that.

I saw Monday Night War twice, one of them being last night before Mania as it was on PPV right before. Its just alright...Its pretty good but I expected better. But its a definate must watch for any wrestling fan though.

Damn right. I am really getting sick of the same guys in matches together. But Im glad that matches like Triple H vs Kurt Angle and Rob Van Dam vs Rey Mysterio could occur. Evolution will break up, I expect HHH and Flair paired on one show and Batista and Orton on the other. A lot of people will be broken up. But overall, its going to make things a lot better. You can tell that Vince is really changing the buisness. I think Edge will be there next week for the lottery. Jericho and Christain obviously need to stay on the same show.

 

But what about the championships? Will the Intercontenental and US titles be on the same show? Will new champions be crowned? Im just so excited with the potential of this whole revamp of the WWE. Cant wait.

Will the GM's stay the same and all that? I think its a great idea, SD has been so lame of late and now Brock leaving makes it even worse, Maybe if the Rock is back for a while he will go back to SD because after all it is his show...Maybe he is the person to get it back up again.

 

Sounds cool though, anyone got info on exactly how it will work?

 

What about Stone Cold? The 2 champs? Can the tag team champs be split?

Anyone can be split up. The champions can switch shows, Austin is even in the lottery himself. GM's are put in there if Im not mistaken. So expect some big surprises next week. Better, fresher rivalries and some mid carders being pushed such as Orton, Batista and Christain. It should make the WWE only better.

One persistent rumor I've heard is that this will mark Edge's return, upon which he will be sent to Smackdown for RVD, though I'm sure they won't break up the tag champs. What I do want to see is for the original world, tag, and IC titles all on the same brand. Have one as the "real" champions, and the other as the "other" champions. This way, one can be shown as the historical, classic edition, and the other as the new wave. Or, alternately, do what they were doing with the World and Women's titles at the beginning of the split. Unify the belts, and have the champion defend on both shows. This way, the titles will have more meaning as someone will be the champ of the entire fed, not just half.

WrestleMania XX was good on the whole, yet I didnt really like the titantron, It was a bit off.

The best Match had to be the Triple Threat, some Matches sucked and there were too many botches.

I like having 2 champions. As we get a more variety of champions and not just having one belt with one champion at a time. I like it the way it is, moving around everyone will just make it that much better.
