Big show is wrestling better than ever right now, and getting over like a beast....but his only downfall from before is that, during his shane mcmahon management era, he was f*cking ripped, when he would wear a shirt wrasslin...he was f*cking ripped....he shape isnt the same but hes only gotten better at everything else.

If Jericho dosent face Benoit at Backlash...then pewpie

Can they build a good enough feud by then? It could just be Benoit against HHH again. Or Michaels at the rate their going.

In Edmonton, a feud from them would take 2 seconds to build....they have such a huge history as it is....the fans would not be able to ask for a better match...and its been mentioned.

 

so if they want attendance and a nutty crowd, they will do it....who knows though...the crowd will be killer no matter what.

Ya I remember reading that, but I just needed to say it again as its getting way more interesting, but i doubt it will be a triangle as Trish wont care for Christain but he's trying to get her bad. He'll probobly just go crazy and try and hurt her and stuff when Jericho gets her. I dont know, but its going to be great to see this whole thing unfold.

They are sorta a travesty though.....its like "combine two high quality wrestlers, that have COMPLETELY fallen off, and make them champs till we have a decent team to run it with"

 

i like both of them, both good wrestlers, both have a good history....both have become completely irrelevant on tv...kinda sh*tty...but id still rather not see them be used as filler champs.

 

I hope Jericho doesnt go the IC route...hes too good for that....he's moved on, and gone back down already, its time for the main event again

 

@kev-thats the beauty of it dude! One of them DOESNT have to be a heel!!....the greatest thing to see, that happens once in a blue moon for a ppv main event, is a Face vs Face match.

 

And one like this, niether guy would get booed more than the other....it would be either 100% behind the both of them, or 50/50....probably wont happen, but i want to f*cking see it damnit!

Woohoo, I just played about 3 hours of HCTP finishing my season (I'm using that idea of building attributes for CAWs, thanks Kev), and I wasn't on the card at WrestleMania, but I watched all the matches anyway. The first two were average matches, but the main event was Lesnar (Champ) vs. Angle, and it went on for about 15 mins! Back and forth, really good match, loads of chances. It was just as good as a real match. The only bad thing was the ending, which was the backdrop where they land on their neck by Angle, and it knocked Lesnar out, but it has definately inspired me to watch more Com vs. Com matches.

 

Also, my brother was playing a match, him as Edge vs. Big Show, and about half way through the match, Show lifted Edge above his head for a press near the ropes, threw Edge forwards and Edge landed on top of the steps! It looked really painful.

 

Anyway, that's my afternoon. Pretty well spent if I may so myself.

Michaels and Rock would still be good, not as good as if it were old michaels...but still, they never had a super high profile match in their primes as far as i know, id be down to see.

 

Rock would be a great Face against Orton....Orton needs to work on his push more before he can really match up with Rock.

I'd say Rock vs. Orton too. Rock vs. RVD may be good too, but right now I can't see either one as a bad guy. I think technically Orton's already there. He's not quite at the Benoit/HHH/RVD level, but just a notch below, and younger. Anyway, the common thought seems to be Rock and Foley vs. Orton and Batista, with WMXX as Rock's only appearance. I'm guessing he'll appear under "mystery partner" circumstances.

 

As for my earlier comment about Jericho as an IC champion, he's proven he can run with the world title, but if they're planning to put the belt on Benoit, let him have his good title run for a few months first, he really deserves it. Then have HHH win it back, have Jericho challenge him around Summerslam time, setting up an awesome main event.

Personally, i think RVD has yet to reach the level of Benoit...he is extremely close, but like Benoit, he needs a serious character adjustment....everyone loves rvds talent but nothing has changed for 15 years and people arent digging it like they used to....its time for his ass to turn heel....and Benoit hasnt nearly reached the level of a HHH...i dont think a title victory will do that for him anyway....he needs a character adjustment of some sort....unfortunatly nowadays, you cant just be a good wrestler and be given a good character...you have to earn it.

 

Maybe my levels are different than others, in an all around sense.

 

HHHs/Rocks/Austins/Angles/Jerichos/Foleys(have all completely proven themselves to always be a good candidate to snag some uber heat and be good at all aspects of the game)

 

Benoits/Eddies/Edges/Rvds/Booker Ts (some have gotten their moments, but all of them, well, besides Eddie now, would tell you they have alot left to accomplish before they are done)

 

Bradshaws/Rhynos/Billy Guns/Tests/Hardcore Hollys (what can i say, some get decent heat either way, but None of these guy are going all the way unfortunatly....MAYBE test, if something drastic happens...thats a huge Maybe..

 

but yeah, i guess its all opinion

Meh, I knew Mysterio was going next. I'm not going to say who I have my eye on now, someone will just take him out of spite.

 

I'd like to see RVD turn heel, but yeah, he just seems too nice (Booker was the same way, but he made it work with comedy). Last time I saw him as a heel was during InVasion. He wasn't terrible at it, but it just didn't suit him, and the fans weren't willing to accept him that way. Rick Steamboat had a great quote about wanting to turn heel himself, and it probably applies to RVD as well. He asked one of the bookers about the idea about turning heel, and the guy said to him, "You could go out there with a chainsaw and cut both of Hogan's arms off, and the fans still wouldn't buy it." During InVasion, RVD was more like the psychotic loner with no allegiance to anyone, even though he represented the Alliance. If he does turn heel again, that should be the role he plays.

 

RVD and Benoit had a hell of a match for the IC title at Summerslam 02. It wasn't the best match either of them ever had, but it showcased probably the 2 top superstars at the time, and Benoit had some nice heel heat, but right now he's just too over for him to turn again.

Dude, in wrestling, thats a perfect reason for someone to turn heel!

 

He doesnt have the draw power of the rock or someone like that, so he wouldnt be getting cheered as a heel if they did it right, have him turn on a fan favorite....he is a fan favorite, but hes not top in the slightest.

 

All he has to do, is say one thing: "This Town f*cking sucks, get me a limo Belvadeere"

works well though, great smackdown....great celebration....id rather have had angle cut the promo with Eddie but yeah the end of the show was awesome.

 

Notice how f*cking amazingly fast Angle is at 100%....its just nuts.

btw, anyone watching Orton/Foley on raw, did you notice how stiff Orton was....obviously so stiff that he must have had confirmation to do so, as after there segment....Foley had a huge welt on his forehead and randy ortons knuckles were bruised as hell...and yes it was real, you could tell....you can tell because, in a fight, you NEVER punch someone in the forehead...unless you are mike tyson....Orton was f*cking nailing foleys head...makes great for the camera though
