These next few weeks in the UWT Season are going to be based on King of the Ring and not Bad Blood. In the UWT King of the Ring, its a 16 man tournament. 8 from RAW, 8 from Smackdown! In which the winner gets a title shot at either brand's champion at Summerslam. There are 16 qualifying matches in all before the actual tournament begins. The semi finals and finals will take place at the PPV. Here are the qualifying match as of now:

On a semi-related topic...was anyone else disappointed with the fact that KOTR was replaced with Bad Blood? At least one brand should revive the tournament for their PPV. I mean, WWE's at a point where wrestlers don't need to wear plastic crowns to the ring, but I like the tournament format, and it gives the winner heat going into summerslam.

 

Some interesting bits I just found: first Randy Orton's commentary in which he puts RVD over huge for their last IC match.

 

I checked my e-mail like I do every tuesday when i get home off the road, and saw how many of my friends and relatives were questioning whether or not i was legitimatly hurt during my match with Rob last night (1/12/04) on RAW.well, for those who are interested here is what occured. Within 3 mintes into the match RVD threw me into the ring post while on the floor, normally I would get my hands up in time to soften the impact, but if you watch it in slow motion, youll see one hand was too low and one to high. I cracked the top of my forehead on the post, leaving a cut that needed 10 stitches, and lots of sweeling. I have been knocked out before, and I was definitly knocked goofy, but not unconcious. I was however disoriented enough were I had trouble with balance and vision. During the commercial break I was pretty much inoperable but with about 30 seconds before the break was up, I had this sudden adrenaline rush, and with a few deep breaths I started to gain some perception back. Now I would like to comment on RVDs performance . He is the reason that match was able to go on. We had 20 minutes for that match. 3 minutes after the bell rang, I was in a state were I didnt quite know what was going on. Rob showed what a Ring General he was, by talking me threw the rest of the 17 minutes of that match.I hate "exposing" the buisness like this, but I feel that as fans, you should hear this so that you can see how difficult our trade can be, and possibly enjoy and respect it more then you do already.

 

I really, really, really, really, really hope these two continue the IC program

 

Apparently, Goldberg has been asked to stop doing the Jackhammer, but refuses to obey, as it's "an important part of his persona".

 

Fun-filled fact: Barry Horowitz first debuted in what was then the WWWF in the late 70's under the name of Brett Hart.

Everyone should just have in their sig who they have in the UWT season. Maybe when people click on UWT Season it would take them to this topic. Easy advertisement!

 

 

Also, people. Suggest stuff for storylines!!!!! form a factoin with other member's superstars, form a tag team! Do a little more something to make it more of a group thing. So if Benoit wanted to be a tag team with HHH then the person who owns benoit wouldnt have to ask anyone but me, but if he formed a tag team with Austin he'd have to ask Nate if they want to form a tag team. Same thing with a faction. But everything has to run past me so I can see if the factions are fair. It would make this more of a UWT community effort. Also, get more into it and ask for title shots and such and they will be granted. Suggest storylines, anything!

Meanwhile, on the Smackdown side, I have DiBiase, so if anyone wants a new Million Dollar Corporation (hint hint) I'm listening.

 

Is it possible to have more than 1 guy on each brand, for example, have DiBiase jump over to Raw and join Evolution (hint hint) so I have both him and Flair in the same stable and on the same brand, giving me an opportunity to pick up a new Smackdown wrestler?

Sorry leper, but if DiBiase moved to RAW then you wouldnt have a smackdown superstar. But if you really want them to be a team then....sure. I can make it happen and have him join Evolution. But think about it first, because then you wouldnt have anyone on smackdown.

 

Menace, you could have Angle go to RAW but then thats just killing Smackdown slower and slower by taking off the big stars. But if you really want it to happen, again PM me.

 

Triple H is out of Evolution in UWT season, so now its just Orton, Flair, Batista and Lance Storm. Not sure if I'd allow another wrestler to join. Just try and be original and talk to other pepole and make your own seperate alliances.

But my fav ppv is always the rumble, I believe this year the last man standing match will have an outcome of just one second. So both guys are out and then HBK probobly launches up at 9 to win the title. Just like he said on RAW....one second(WAM! beauty SCM).
