Huge Update On Goldberg's Questionable Future In WWE

Relations between WWE and Goldberg continue to worsen. It is already well known that Goldberg threw a tantrum backstage at Armageddon after he was pinned by Triple H. The WWE seems to be deploying the 'strike approach' with Goldberg. The fit at Armageddon was strike two, and it seems that if he explodes again, he may be told to go home even before his contract finishes.

 

Goldberg basically feels that WWE should book him how he was used in WCW, as a total dominant force who does not sell to anyone. WWE have been doing the opposite by booking him as a complete baby face that has to overcome obstacles, which obviously means that he will have to do a lot of selling to the heels.

 

The general consensus with Goldberg is that he does not know anything about the business and that he is trying to juice the same tactic he has been using for years.

 

Vince McMahon has grown increasingly frustrated with Goldberg's lack of respect for the company, as well as his inability to use the mic effectively and limited capabilities of a superstar.

 

Goldberg's contract is up after WrestleMania XX and it may be hard to persuade him to sell before he leaves, which may even mean he won't get a match at WM XX. Because of this, the Goldberg/Brock Lesnar Champion vs. Champion match is looking increasingly unlikely to take place.

 

WWE may want to reach some sort of compromise with Goldberg that would allow him to make special cameo appearances in the future.

I think that the concept of the Champion vs. Champion match is a good one. It'd be a chance to end this 'brand' crap (I never liked it). However, from the looks of things, it will either never happen, or it may prove to be a monumentally boring match.

 

In a way though I can understand Goldberg being pissed about giving the title to Triple H. I'd be pissed too (wouldn't tear up a room behind it though). To me Triple H is almost just as bad, he doesn't like giving the title up to anybody either. They should re-arrange the talent altogether imo.

No. Like him or not, he's going down as one of the best in history.....he is on a level far above Bill Goldberg....i dont need to explain.

 

Nobody likes to lose a title...but HHH has been champion far more times that Goldberg....so that means he's lost it just as much too....it doesnt matter if you dont like losing....if vince says you are losing, then you are losing.

 

@kev.....cant wait for the next matches....is the three way for the title?!?...please

 

and why does angle have to face lesnar?!?...thats gonna be tough.

I know how he's getting written up. That's why I think it's such a travesty. He is using his influence with the McMahon family to get the things he wants. I feel that this is unfair to other more deserving talent on the Raw roster (no I am not referring to Goldberg when I say that because in a lot of ways he doesn't deserve it either).

 

I'll give credit where it is due, HHH is a hard worker. I respect that, but he holds down other talent. This is my issue with him.

None of us know what goes on back there....just minor, minor details....untill one of us works there..

 

he's a hard worker, he's loyal as f*ck, he's an AWESOME wrestler...dispite the crap he's been feuding with recently....he's AWESOME on the mic....and gets heat with the snap of his fingers....like him or not he's just like jericho or rock, the total package.

 

people write bad sh*t about whomever is champion more than once....every week there is bullsh*t written, good and bad, about the same guys..
