You guys read my mind. Goldberg's last match=DiBiase's comeback. Or he and Bret come back, both beat down Goldberg, he disappears into the abyss, and then they go on to have more classic matches with each other.

Exactly. Goldberg is only making the WWE talent look worse because he wants to get an even bigger push than he is already getting, one that he doesnt deserve at all. Thanks to Turner/Bischoff, whichever one decided on his character, they've turned him into a complete cocky bastard. Winning 200 matches in a row in WCW is like losing to Barry Harrowitz in WWF. I despise Goldberg, him dying would be going too far, but at least make him end up like Christopher Reeves or something.

No Doubt.

It just kills me to see that there are still certain cities in the states with Goldberg fans.....lots of the cities are smart and dont buy his played out schtick but some are still falling for it.....but man 6 or 7 years in the buisness and youve learned nothing, get a hint.

random wrestler that could whip goldbergs ass....hey look what i found!

everybodys got a price.

I wouldent be mad if I seen a 100 bucks stuffed down Goldburgs throat......

That sounds like one of 100 of the most amazing possible ways to end goldbergs career.....i was a HUGE fan of the money-down-throat....stupid 123 kid....everybodies got a price!!

then again i was quite pleased with that one episode of nitro..

call gayberg out. (as much as i hate leafs, and am diehard canucks fan)

Well, since his motorcycle accident and his stroke he's in no good shape to wrestle.Unless he Bret came back at some sort of permanent position I wouldent be mad if he didn't come back. Not even for an appearance....

he get title shots ant anything other than the women's title,

because hes not a woman. sigh.gif

He wrestlers worse than the women, so I classify him as a woman right now.

That was one of the very few nitros that I saw in that year. Goldberg spearing the metal plate, that was awesome. I still remember me just saying kick ass under my breath. But sadly, a few weeks later it was over for Bret Hart.

Oh, and I think Im a leafs fan now! nervous.gif

Hehe, looks like bashing Goldberg has come into the discussion again. biggrin.gif

As we approach WrestleMania XX, Bill Goldberg and the WWE will battle outside of the ring as they negotiate Goldberg's contract renewal as his current deal expires shortly after WM XX. His current 1-year deal has a downside guarantee of $1.5 million, however business hasn't allowed for him to earn much more than that. Lower-card wrestlers average $75,000 for their downside guarantee, mid-card wrestlers average $150,000, and upper-card stars range from $200,000 - 800,000. Then you have the exceptions that are far above (Goldberg, HHH, etc) and below (developmental talent) these numbers. Those who have talked to Goldberg say he's definitely interested in signing for another year with the WWE, but won't if he feels he's being taken advantage of with his new deal and has mixed feelings on how his first year has gone.

Hello, question about Smackdown HCTP.

If you watch a match in season mode can you manually interupt it?

Thanks.

Hello, question about Smackdown HCTP.

If you watch a match in season mode can you manually interupt it?

why dont you try it? But Im about 90 percent sure you cant, you can only get to watch one guy beat the hell out of another guy because of the factor of strength. Thats whats f*cked up about this game, no matter what you do, the guy who has a higher strength attribute will always win, if you watch it at least. Like I can put Benoit up against Batista, and Batista will always win because of his strength, they need to fix that a bit for the next game.

Yeah its a bit annoying

The only time i saw a crap person beat a good person was when it was a title triple threat, Rico picked up the win against Kurt Angle after Taker had worn him down. Rico was champion for some reason, he managed to beat me after throwing me off a hell in a cell in a past season.

Plus the royals rumbles still suck, i hate it when a big superstar comes in and instantly gets knocked out by a crap little wrestler, they need to put in like a subbmission style gauge when trying to put someone over the top rope, being harder for crap people and easier for the big superstars. Only in royal rumbles though. I hope you understand that. tounge.gif

i belive you can do the "R3" button to interrupt a match you are watching, only if interference is allowed in the match...which is very rarely..??..

Yea, if the match is anything more than one on one, then I find that the sh*ttier wrestler usually wins! For instance, I was in exhibition and I put Bischoff vs Lesnar and HHH in a triple threat match. Bischoff was all red and bloody, but after a pedigree he knocked down triple H and pinned Lesnar.

The royal rumble thing really pisses me off, I love watching royal rumbles and I love seeing who i want to win. Then someone like Chavo comes along and eliminates Lesnar, right when he comes out!! I watch royal rumbles a hell of a lot of times, because i use exhibition to watch matches, I have my own little season going biggrin.gif Then I get to the rumble ppv and....someone crappy wins, causing me to restart the rumble three times!

Wait a second, I got an idea. How about we start our own little simulatoin season? Everyone picks two wrestlers, one on either show and I just continue my sim season and after a year, we see who has the most superstar points(gain 1 point per win, 2 points for title win, three points for grudge match title win) and the winner gets a banner saying UWT Season Champion. If you guys are interested I will make a list of all of the wrestlers you can choose from and then list their attributes, superstar points and which brand they are on, and if they are champions. Then I start the season on April 1st(in game april 1st) and all of it will be done in exhibition, while i watch the matches. I will probobly got through 3-4 events a day, so i can go through a month in about 3 days. So the simulation season would last 36 days. Everyone liking the idea? Because it would be kickass, after each event I will log on and post the results, how they won, and how long the match was, and then the winners superstar points and the loser's superstar points after the match. This idea is kickass! If one person says yes, then....Im listing the superstars which you can choose!

Major update: This is now a role playing season, I have the absolute perfect methods! Everything i mentioned above, plus a little bit of occasional statements in the ring from the wrestlers and the GM's. Each event will have as many matches as there are member participating, as your wrestler will wrestle every event(since you have on on both brands) unless they have severed an injury. Now here comes the best parts, If your wrestler has superstar points above 60, you can challenge for the Hardcore/Cruiserweight Championship. If you wrestler has superstar points above 70, he can challenge for the IC/US titles. If you have a tag team partner in mind and their superstar points are combined over 120 points, and they are on the same side(face/heel) you can challenge for the Tag titles. Then if your SP's are higher than 85, you challnge for the brand titles. Now here is the best part, if you want your wrestler's attributes to go up, it will cost you 10 superstar points for 0.5 attributes, then if you want to pay me 10 superstar points for 0.5 increase on one of your attributes, you PM me and i will arrange that in season mode. Superstar points cannot exceed 100 points to be fair, and to make it harder.

If you want your wrestler to have a title shot and he has the right amount of superstar points then you PM me, I will get a match arranged and if i recieve more than one request at a time for the saem belt then, I can execute a triple threat/#1 contender/fatal 4 way/battle royale, anything i want! Thats what makes it that much interesting. Everyone sign upo as this is insanely awesome! Best idea i've come up with!

Those are the wrestlers you can choose from, one from each brand, first come first serve. I will scratch out the ones already chosen. To make things fair, i wont partake in teh competition. But its going to be pretty exciting anyways, whew that only took half hour to write...now, choose your wrestlers and lets get this thing started!

Sorry for the double post, but if i try to edit the above one it will take 5 minutes to reply on my cpu. My last statement is try to keep your picks even, if you pick one main eventer try top pick a bit of a lesser wrestler for your second pick, just so its fair.

PG, Im the one to do the playing, all you have to do is wait fro the results and hope your character wins. You dont have to do much unless you want to.

Corzaa, You got Brock and Orton!

Well, I guess most of you didnt read my post about one high card, one mid card wrestler. But thats okay i guess.

Menace! I was almost posotive you would have picked Ted Debiase! notify.gif

Anyways, Im going to start the first events now. I also forgot to mention one thing, if you think your character would be better on the other brand. Then PM me and I can arrange for both of your characters to switch places. There are still about 3 people who come here that havent chosen their wrestlers, so i will wait.....1 hour, actually screw it i'll just include who i think they will pick in the events anyways, and if they dont pick them then who cares, they can pick someone else. But there are still plenty of good wrestlers left:

A-Train

Booker T

Batista

Ted Debiase

Triple H

Rob Van Dam

Rey Mysterio

Test

Scott Steiner

Kane

The Undertaker

Chris Benoit

Edge

Steve Austin

Ric Flair

see....plenty! Anyways, here are the match cards for the first two events.

RAW

Randy Orton vs Rob Van Dam

Kane vs Kevin Nash

Goldberg vs Triple H

Intercontenental Championship

Ladder Match

C: Test vs Batista

The Rock vs Booker T

Submission Match

Chris Jericho vs Shawn Micheals

-------------------------------------------------

Smackdown!

A-Train vs John Cena

Eddie Guerrero vs Chris Benoit

WWE Tag Team Championship

C: World's Greatest Tag Team vs Rey Mysterio & Edge

Ted Debiase vs Kurt Angle

Big Show vs Undertaker

5-Way Battle Royale

WWE Championship

C: Brock Lesnar vs winner of 1st match vs winner of 2nd match vs winner of 3rd match vs winner of 4th match

-------------------------------------------------

There you have it, the first two events of Smackdown and Raw. Its now in the Cpu's hands, the difficulty will be Smackdown and hopefully the matches will be relatively fair. The matches i made, are pretty fair i think, ecah superstar is close to his opponents overall. So now its up to the computer, I made two great cards now lets see who the first winners are! Who knows....one of you might get lucky and win a title.

I chose The Rock and 'Taker. Taker is not available! wink.gif

Good card kev, this should make the thread a whole lot more than a chance to take the piss outta Goldberg! smile.gif

Hey Kevin explain this a little more. I see the matches you have set up. But the CPU or computer decides. How? Does it depend on if they win on Smackdown in real life or the game?

Well, I just simulated all of Raw, and it was actually pretty damn good. Strength didnt always matter, its more of technique when you are on Smackdown difficulty. Anyways, her are the Raw results.

Rob Van Dam def. Randy Orton with Suplex Pin (7:48)

SP - RVD:84 Orton: 74

Kevin Nash def. Kane with Jacknife Powerbomb (6:12)

SP - Nash: 81 Kane: 84

Goldberg def. Triple H with Jackhammer (7:33)

SP - Goldberg: 89 HHH: 88

Intercontnental Championship

Ladder Match

Batista def. Test capturing the Intercontenental Championship (3:04)

SP - Batista: 80 Test: 74

The Rock def. Booker T with Super Back Suplex (6:23)

SP - The Rock: 91 Booker T: 75

Submission Match

Chris Jericho def. Shawn Micheals with Walls of Jericho (9:53)

SP - Jericho: 84 HBK: 83

Those are the Raw Results! Every event Im going to have a little thing saying match of the day and i will talk about it. So here goes:

Match of the Day: Chris Jericho vs Shawn Micheals

I couldnt keep my eyes off of the screen even though this isnt real wrestling. The match was perfect, the cpu didnt f*ck up and miss the other wrestler at all. There were countless reversals and the in ring talent and technique was off the charts. Micheals was in control for the most part of the match, but Jericho kept hitting him with powerful moves attacking his torso. Jericho 's WOJ was reversed the first time and Micheals hit the SCM twice! Jericho kept getting back up and kept hitting moves on HBK. Jericho then finally got special again and elbowed Micheals causing him to stagger and then he flipped him down and locked in the Walls of Jericho and made HBK tap. Excellent match!

Well, thats it time to do Smackdown now!
