I think sometime in the near future ECW will suprise us all. It seems like the wrestlers don't want to have matches like they used to or WWE just wants them to stop the "extreme" I mean they did tell the cruiserweights to stop doing alot of cruiserweight type moves. So why wouldn't they tell ECW to stop doing alot of the things they used to do?

There would be no sense in calling it Extreme Championship Wrestling anymore. There is no point bringing it back really if they take out the extreme part of it.

Paul Heyman actually put together some of last Tuesday's ECW show, however, when Vince McMahon and the rest of WWE creative team saw what he came up with, they tore apart most of Heyman's ideas. Although, Heyman booked Sabu's match and the RVD/Angle angle. The rest of the show - the middle portion - came from McMahon and his minions on the WWE creative team.

 

There was a meeting between Vince McMahon, Kevin Dunn, and Paul Heyman in regards to changes being made with ECW. A decision has been made to move away from all of the old ECW concepts, characters, fans and everything else. Instead, ECW will just be another brand for WWE, simply with the ECW name. In McMahon's eyes, the old ECW fan base is dead and largely gone, and he's going to go forward with things with that in mind. The crowd's behavior at last Saturday's ECW house show really changed his mind on things.

 

Paul Heyman was not at the Gorilla Position on Tuesday night as Vince McMahon was the main man running things. Heyman mainly kept to himself over on the sidelines. Although, when someone would come up to him and ask him for feedback, he was open and gave his opinion. Other than that, it was more obvious than ever before that he is no longer the "mad genius behind ECW."

 

Several of the old ECW referees are already on the way out.

They need to have pro wrestling on HBO, or one of those channels, then they actually could have the stripper get naked.. All they'd need to do is restrict the crowd to over 18.

I saw that sh*t. It was when ECW was on TNN on Friday nights. New Jack took a playstation, or some game system, or it could had been a vcr, who knows. But I remember new jack took it, smashed that man face in.

But anyways TNA is better than WWE in a way. They are capable of making good shows and good storylines unlike the WWE with ECW.

They werent main event because McMahon is the boss and he puts himself over people. Plus I wasnt thinking about the qouting it. I thought you'd just understand it.

Well thats because it was Wrestlemania. The reason for SS and DX main eventing Vengence was most likely because it was DX's first match since (that was on TV) since they disbanded.

Theres no point watching it anymore then if that is the case. Its a f*cking disgrace to the ECW name. If they wanted another WWE brand show then they should of just came up with their own damn idea and not sh*t on ECW. It isn't a surprise to me that Heyman was behind the Sabu match.
