Yeah, the 3 hour long special will be good. It now means you can get some decent matches, that will be at least 10 minutes. Will be good. Lets see some titles on the line and special matches.

They even cut out all the between-match promos tonight. Shame, I heard Kennedy was gold tonight, and looked good in a match with London, though it was one-sided El Squasho.

Jericho got "fired" in a "loser gets fired match" with Cena a few weeks back.

 

I havn't heard much.He is prolly doing the Fozzy thing.They have got a big tour coming up in Oct.

 

Some rumors about him joining TNA.

Trish is back. But now she's a face who defends Diva Search winners instead of mocking and beating the crap out of them. Wonder if they'll actually try to explain her face turn? That's one thing in wrestling that bugs me: wrestlers turning face/heel without any backstory or explanation.

 

So for a bearhug, the arm has to drop 3 times, but for the Masterlock, it only has to drop once?

 

Looks like the tag belts are going to Cade and Murdoch after only 3 matches. Murdoch especially needs some more work.

You know rasslin is in a lull when they push a team like Cade and Murdoch.Honestly,I see NOTHING special here at all.In fact,I don't see much period..well..cept that top rope bulldog.

 

I gotta feeling Trish as a face won't last too long.She is just way too good at the heel diva.She looks to be in great shape as well.

 

They sure don't waste anytime with the Diva search winner.Guess they wanna go while the trail is still hot or something.But.lets face it,Ashley isn't ready for this yet.

 

I liked Shawn's "why the hell did I do that" rant.That was great.I still see a backstab to Flair at some point.....maybe this Sunday!?!

Oh man, that so sucks about Jericho, I can't believe it, he was the one and only wrestler I supported the whole time, ever since I first caught him on his debut, it is such a shame and what a stupid way to go. I can't believe that, and frankly, I am glad I never saw that match.

 

Yeah, Lillian has come along way, well for coming public, that shot is in the Divas mag, but bigger! She is known for being quite the party animal, true.

Murdoch has one big thing goin for him. His dad....God bless his soul. He tagged for a long time with Dusty Rhodes I believe. Damn good wrestler. Murdoch has his moments where he looks pretty good, and for once he's not a roided out wrestler. Kind of a throw back to the classic wrestlers. I liked that right off the bat from him. I think his character is cool, but a touch too extreme. Why cant they just be the cowboys...the southerners with a TOUCH of redneck. I think he over exagerates as well and his stumbling around really slows down a match and ruins chemistry. I think WWE is putting an investment in the Tag Team department. It'll give them a lot more use of the lower card wrestlers espcially after dropping Velocity and Heat. Pair up the right guys through in a few GOOD gimmicks....please....and you might have some damn good up and comers. Hopefully we'll see more Tag Team wrestling. Thats something I really miss.

Is Trevor Dick Murdoch's son? He was way before my time (his cameo at the 94 Rumble doesn't count), so I can't say what kind of a legacy he has. Besides, second generation isn't always a guarantee of success, David Flair being the most recent example.

It'll be a dummy or something, they've done that sort of thing before when Undertaker feuded with Diesel but it was Diesel in the casket, and also another time they had Undertaker Vs Undertaker.

When they did the camera shot about 15 feet from the casket it didnt look like him at all, then they went to a close up, but there were no cameras that close and did you notice you could only see inside the casket. My guess is they used a double but threw in the pre recorded clip of the Undertaker actually in the casket.

Probably not, but a great Gooker angle would be for Orton to say that he dug DiBiase's Underfaker up and brought him back to life with black magic (possible way to introduce the Boogeyman?) to take revenge on Taker.

 

Velocity was a strict recap this week, so while I got to miss out on Sylvain as the next Rick Martel and Doug Basham as another cocky full of himself heel, I got to see what I missed due to Smackdown being preempted for the Giants for the second time in 3 weeks. I'm liking Kennedy more and more. He's giving great promos reminding me of a young heel Rock, and for a big guy he's really agile. Right now, he can only get better, and seems to every week. Right now, the only thing that might work against him is if he pulls a Waylon Mercy and gets injured before he can make an impact.

Its hard for me to invision Snitsky golfing but.....and if you look closely,that clyb he is holding DOES NOT look like a rentall.2 color tone shafts are usually graphite...very expensive.
